Most of those militias aren't the one's you need worry about...they're self-weeding, because they're stupid.

They weren't formed until a need was seen to be justified. Before that? They were shop keepers, blacksmiths, teamsters, backwoods hunters, and many another peaceful occupation.

Those are the one's you need to beware of. The ones who won't do anything 'til they're pushed to it.

I completely agree with this.

When and if the the need arises, there will be people willing to take up arms to defend their interests and that goes beyond the so-called militia members that get together to play "dress-up" on the weekends.

There are many of us Leftists that are not only armed, but also well-trained in how to use rights we have been given and would be among those willing to stand up when forced to.

The problem with Sleeper cells nowadays is they are all sleepwalking into longer working hours, less money and longer retirement ages..It's not the early 18th century we are talking about here. Have a look around you. Most people barely pass a nod to a neighbour never mind get together and share their woes these days.

Militias aint gonna happen anytime soon. In fact i'll go as far as never again in the US. Everyone looks after numero Uno.

Autonomous drones with hellfire missiles don't need many people in a secure bunker to wipe out militia types.

And despite the military being infested with Trumpists, there are top secret bases that contain heavily vetted people who's political beliefs are known. The drones can be operated from those bases.

Oh that heinous keyword "deplorable". There are plenty of words to describe people who are historically racist, misogynist, rigid xenophobes. I just think its weird how these types make up such a notable part of the worlds population. It's a real snowflake group, too... in the truest sense of the world. That happens, but I was thinking more along the lines of setting IED's in the streets and going on shooting rampages in theaters. More politically based than religious based. I don't think it's the 3% group who identifies with abortion bombings, even though a lot of them do tend to be religious they're more interested in overthrowing the government than punishing sinners.

I find it ironic that you are so invested in demonizing a segment of society you apparently dislike intensely? Generally intelligent and stable people don't obsess about social groups that add no real value to their narrative.
