Hannity can pull out a real gun, point it at a real live human being and - crickets... Fox has no problem calling out Snoop Dogg though
Part of me wants to use the word ironic, but it's not at all ironic - it's just indicative

There is a difference but neither is a big deal.
Now, pointing your gun at a friend would be considered, by some, worse than either of those two things.
What is wrong with someone stating that, if that was the case, that they disapprove?
Sean Hannity once pulled a gun on Juan Williams

What the friend thinks doesn't matter. His friend could have known that the gun was empty and felt safe but it is still broke gun safety rules held by others.
It is their problem but it doesn't mean that it didn't happen
@CNN I have YEARS OF TAPE talking about gun safety. Years. www.breitbart.com... …

It's a bit different publishing a video and broadcasting it mimicking shooting the President and showing a friend your firearm don't you think?

Showing a friend? Pointing an actual gun while the laser site is on your torso...
Then - art
Yes. Huge difference. The gun can actually kill someone. Art can make you think
I wonder how long it will be before we have a "Minister of Information" deciding what "news" is worthy of being disseminated on Only state approved media.
Yes it was designed to make you think - about killing the President.
It’s not exactly news that President Trump would prefer a more circumscribed news media, which he has described as “the enemy of the American people.” And despite his previous success as an entertainer, he apparently doesn’t think much of artists’ freedom of expression, either. Early on March 15, as is his wont, Trump tweeted grumpily, “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”

I would have said not long except for one thing: there's been enough of a voice coming from the right (still growing) that's been willing to confront all this nonsense out loud and very publicly. I think if push comes to shove (and that part seems likely) it will turn into America against the One Man Orange Clown Car and his Keystone Cops entourage
Of course, I've been wrong before. Recently :-)
But I've seen enough to give me hope
But as I adjust to this surrealistic American drama; it reminds me of how much I enjoy watching the insane people raving on the street corners. Odd comparison but that's the way I roll.

Indeed :-)
Literally - or figuratively? How many of the Nekked Emperor's fanboys understand this? Trump himself doesn't even seem to understand:

Of course Snoop Dogg has the right to depict Trump’s assassination
What would you recommend UK? :-)
Snoop Dogger or whether his name is can say what he wants, I just find it particularly pathetic and far more of an issue than Hannity showing his firearm to a friend
I think this story is already consigned to yet another example of CNN fake news, so it hardly matters now.

Hard to call something that actually happened debunked.
I thought people are expected to move past the title and actually think about the content of the op. "Debunking" a tongue in cheek title doesn't do anything to the rest of the op.
