Students Denounced As Racist For Wearing US Flag Colors

They need to be kept as far away from any position of power and influence as possible.

The problem may be the people that currently run the USA could be considered to be are rather synonymous with the concept of racism.

So when people see others of a specific demographic clothed and rapped in the colours of the nation they associate it with the support of the blonde racist buffoon at the helm of the nation.

End of the day i don't think they were being racist, just simply supporting there team.

Well for one. This bs has been going on for years now. Even during obams rain of stupidity. Do you can't blame trump for it. You might want to read the stories from the last 8 to 10 years before assuming that oh its trumps fault cause he is racist. No he is patriotic and has had enough of refugees coming in and condemning us for flying our own flag. Its time america had teeth again. Its time we stop this. People allowing this bs are going to cause america to fall. And then I hope all these freaking idiots realize how stupid it was to put an end to the country there parents and grandparents fought and died for to protect those same freedoms they are trying to enjoy.

To me as a non-American,i must say it sounds Insane..How can anyone in America have a problem with people wearing the colours of the American flag??????????????? It's either the country you were born in,or if you're an immigrant,the country where you obviously Wanted to Be..Why in the name of all that's sane and good,is it Racist to wear the colours of the flag of your own country?????? Why should any American apologise to Anyone for wearing the colours of their flag?

Red, White and Blue can be symbol of sincere love for this country. But on the darker side, wearing red white and blue, depending on the context can mean extreme nativism and an aversion to those who are not of your stock i.e brown people.

Or ... it could just mean that someone wore those colors. Red, white and blue are common colors to find color-blocked together in clothing. Bought my kid a hoodie that's bright red, blue and an extremely pale gray. There were versions of it with both white and black. The only reason he doesn't have the white one is that I was afraid that the white wouldn't stay white.

Hey i just offered up a reason as to why people may seem to perceive it that way.

I did not say i completely agreed with said reason.

End of the day through building big nonsensical walls and banning people of particular religious orientation from entering in to the country is hardly synonymous with those very same freedoms your grandparents fought and died to protect.

Possibly worth keeping in mind that people from all over the world fought and died to protect freedom.

Point of fact many of those same heroes would be spinning in there graves if they could see how our politicians, bankers and mass media institutions have perverted those freedoms to suit there own agenda over the years.
