"What sets him apart from the globalist billionaires is that he is not power-hungry (power-sick to be more precise). He has a moral compass that guides him. The result is that power comes to him naturally, but it is not a goal in itself.

And he is an authentic human being, which means he isn't perfect and doesn't try to hide it. That's why he won and Hillary lost! :-) "

you must be young. LOL

he's pathetically power hungry! he's just so bad at it... LOL. good ole john barron pulled one over on a lot of poor saps. interesting to observe, tho.

What sets him apart from the globalist billionaires is that he is not power-hungry (power-sick to be more precise). He has a moral compass that guides him. The result is that power comes to him naturally, but it is not a goal in itself.

Wait.

What?

He's not "power-hungry"? Good heavens above, I can't for the life of me figure how you could reason this out. He is like a child constantly seeking attention, and generally inappropriately! He's like a little kid!

He's addicted to seeing himself on TV, and his name in print, and his image of himself that now we are all supposed to reflect. Do you seriously not see this?

It is a mighty weakness. A grave fault. He thinks that because he sits in that oval room he can order people to behave or fire them. For him, it's the realization of a dream he's probably had for decades.

But now, he has to live it. He has to actually accept the reality of what it is, and is being very unsettlingly roused from his stupor of expectations that it would be "fun."

yikes.

He may be as genuine as Forrest Gump, but that does NOT make him qualified for this job.

Well I can say one thing - he is probably not a completely honest man, using religion to woo his audience.

I have seen that deceptive tactic before in the prior administration.

Seeing such a similar tactic in both administrations I would say nothing has changed, and that all this hoopla about him taking over and politicians trying to discredit him is a likely some sort of show. That's is what my intuition tells me. I may be wrong.

Whatever the case, I think the deep state remains unhindered and intact, and that if Trump does really represent a new group, they might have to play nice with them.

boo hoo. grow up.

the man's a fool and if someone says he's not power hungry I have the right to disagree. good lord, he slaps his name on everything - that's the epitome of power hungry!

edit to add because I think it's hysterical. you are aware he posed as someone else to brag to the media about himself, right??? but, you're right he's not power hungry AT ALL. LOL it's okay you're probably young and aren't as aware of his past, I think if you were you'd agree.

No, he's our President and seeking attention? The most powerful figure on earth keeping in touch with his citizens on a social media platform...inappropriate?

He's addicted to seeing himself on TV, and his name in print, and his image of himself that now we are all supposed to reflect. Do you seriously not see this?

Anything wrong with that? I kiss my biceps in the mirror every morning and consider myself as gods gift to women. Your point? Have you seen anything of late that points to that? I've seen a President hard at work.

It is a mighty weakness. A grave fault. He thinks that because he sits in that oval room he can order people to behave or fire them. For him, it's the realization of a dream he's probably had for decades.

Your right, his realization to attain the highest office indeed came true. Now true change is certainly coming. Um, most bosses can order people around or fire them...have you ever had a job before?

But now, he has to live it. He has to actually accept the reality of what it is, and is being very unsettlingly roused from his stupor of expectations that it would be "fun."

He is living it and making great progress. What a ridiculous notion. You're right though, to him, this is fun as challenges is what he embraces and craves, because we only want the best and be the best.

yikes.

You're more then welcome to move to EU or UK, perhaps China?

He may be as genuine as Forrest Gump, but that does NOT make him qualified for this job.

This doesn't make any sense.

I am, perhaps it is you that should "grow up". Nobody says disagrees with your right, I'm simply calling it out as childish and ridiculous.

"boo hoo, he slaps his name on everything."

Whats hysterical is your netiquette, its petty and crude. What is your fascination regarding whether or not if we are young? Calm down on the "LOL" you're going to break your fingers.

Well, whatever. To each his own.

bless your heart, resorting to personal attacks. LOL

nothing wrong with being young sweetness, settle down. those a bit older who voted for him, that I know personally, always start off saying they don't like the guy, but felt he would do good, in a sort of eyes cast down embarrassed sort of way. I remember his john barron days.

being young gives you a bit more of a pass. LOL

What's your definition of globalist?

Who doesn't want a world in better working order for people in their own countries?

But it really starts at home. Doesn't it?

In that sense, yeah he's a globalist. Certainly not an isolationist. Or a nationalist empire builder.

I'll give him the chance and support to MAGA. Simple.

Classical, UN hidden agenda, NWO type globalism of course. I am not an isolationist. I have no problem with global markets, global economies, treaties between nations, etc. The classical type of globalism to which I'm referring as a movement is not warm or fuzzy by any stretch of the imagination once the details of such plans are perused.

I'll not derail the thread by dragging out the dogma of such theories here, but plenty of research has been done and plenty of solid information published that proves my point. Essentially I was asking if he is part of the cabal that seems to have hijacked our government, as evidenced by the rest of my OP.

Then I would say no, he isn't part of that.

Neither of these things demonstrate that he is power hungry, only that he is attention hungry. I'm not saying he's not power hungry, perhaps he is. I'm just pointing out that the things you are saying don't in the slightest prove that he's power hungry, though they do support the hypothesis that he is attention hungry.

Your post contributes absolutely nothing to this thread, except perhaps an example of how not to have an intelligent debate on abovetopsecret.com. Do you have anything to add to the discussion? I know you're capable of at least semi-intelligent commentary from time to time...how about some of that?

If you think he's a total turdball or something, show me the evidence to support that hypothesis please. Don't just poop on my thread and then run off. I'm listening. That's why I made this thread. Show me the real dirt. I honestly want to see it.

What do you mean exactly? Are you talking about his saying 'God Bless America' at the end of his speeches, or something else? Please elaborate.

Similar tactics...yes, I agree. It seems like that's what we've been having fed to us since 1992 at least in my opinion. Bill Clinton was supposed to be the outsider, then Bush, then Gore, then Obama, then McCain. Regardless of how establishment oriented these guys are, there seems an attempt to sell them to the public by the media as someone who's going to get in there and 'shake things up a bit, make some changes!' They made some changes alright...

The media's treatment of Trump was certainly different in this regard. Doesn't mean he's the real deal though, so you may be right. Season 45 of 'Politics As Usual', they got some new writers for this one, trying to up the ratings a little...Maybe.

I dunno. Doesn't seem like business as usual, but that just could be the interesting plot twist. Like I said in the OP though, I think it's too early to call yet based on what I know, but I think time will tell.
