I came across this 58 second long video on creepy clips website claiming it depicts a real alien. If it is not, if the creature in the video is not an alien then what kind of creature is it. Maybe someone will be able to identify it. My thoughts is that it is something from the ocean. Lots of weird things in the ocean.

I'm 90% sure that's a Triop. I grow them in a large tank in my living room, they're amazing creatures. If it is not a Triop it is definitely within the Triopsidae family.

Look like a lamprey which lives on the ocean but that's just from glancing at the still of the movie which I haven't watched yet. So I suppose I should watch it ay.

Ok so it's not a lamprey. It's pretty freaky what ever it is.

What a odd creature to grow in your living room. Will now google to find out about them. Thanks for introducing me to a new creature.

Edit: no it's not a sea monkey. Sorry I didn't watch the full video.

I'm thinking it's some sort of lamprey noe

Thanks! They're fascinating little creatures and they are quite easy to keep. The only downside being that they have quite short lifespans. I had one life to just over 9 weeks which is a very old age for them. I always loved the idea of growing my own little dinosaurs as a child so I just kind of kept it up haha.

You are most likely to be right about it being in the Triopsidae family. Now that i look at other videos of the Triop I think it just another hoax. Thanks for debunking this.

It's okie

They are quite alien in the way they look so its an easy conclusion to come to.

I have seen Triops grown to sizes comparable the the creature shown in the video and they do look almost identical. My intention wasnt to debunk, sorry.

I'm with Jimmy. Looks like a triop to me, too. Maybe a little bigger than the one in this video, but otherwise seems nearly identical, given the crappy quality of the video.

It's clearly been coated in some kind of green goopy substance. You can see the puddle of the green goop underneath it and how when it raises its tail, it leaves a bit of the goop on the surface. May be that some idiot coated in in green paint or something of that nature to make it look more "alien."

Somebody else thought they looked like alien critters, but without the goop...

It's bad enough we get blurry videos from far away, but this thing was close enough to make sure the video was clear and sharp. Most likely this is an exotic fish of some kind, no alien.

I used to have them too, and Sea Monkeys. They were a lot of fun for the kids.
