We are going to triple the number of ICE deportation officers,” Trump said. “Within ICE, I am going to create a new special deportation task force focused on identifying and quickly removing the most dangerous criminal illegal immigrants in America who have evaded justice.”
Though “criminal illegal immigrants” would be the initial focus of Trump’s deportation force, he made clear that he wants all undocumented people out. “Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation,” he said. “That is what it means to have laws and to have a country. Otherwise we don’t have a country.”

Why nerves ? He's been a trump surrogate for a year. It's not like he's hasn't been grilled by the press before. He's been on every news show on cable numerous times. He should have this down pat.
Banks are already "environmentally" protected.

Why do you seriously doubt it?
Why were the regulations placed in the first place.
On another note do you want skyrocketing interest rates if they deregulate the banks?

Perhaps to keep the cheap goods flowing in?
I wound up marching in Norfolk because my husband pulled his back on Friday chopping firewood that we didn't need but men with axes or chain saws are hard to argue with lol. He didn't think he could sit in the car for two and a half hours to get to DC.
It was beautiful. Men and women and kids and for some reason lots of dogs . Lol.

but thought instead that Spicer was pretty durn diplomatic in not calling the lying media "liars"
If he had done that, it would not have gone over well.
As I said, he was respectful but also asked for the dignity of allowing for corrections, just like the media outlets are allowed to do.
(In my mind, this means 'let us defend his tweets before you grab and attack them' or something of that sort.)
He did very well, he was open and smiling and didn't seem smarmy at all.
He did seem very competent, practiced, and 'the show went on' even when he was rattled. He did say early on that he would stay as long as they wanted to. But then he said, "okay, that's all."
So. Yeah. Good start. Shaky on the end, from both sides.
Still. Very professionally done, considering. I thought.
He so far has my respect, and my sympathy for having been put in this position. I will support him as long as he keeps up the graciousness and owns the 'necessary corrections', just like he wants the press to do.
We don't want anyone "demoralized" now, do we?

neither of those things were addressed today.
We are talking about today's press briefing, if you please.
Make a thread about your pet topics and how you view the goings on.
This thread is about what SEAN SPICER SAYS and HOW IT GETS REPORTED.
It is also focused on FACT-CHECKING.
