President Obama Awards Himself Distinguished Public Service Medal

On Wednesday, President Obama added another prestigious medal to his Nobel Prize collection when he had Defense Secretary Ash Carter award him with the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service.

Secretary Carter awarded his boss with the medal on January 4 during the Armed Forces Full Honor Farewell Review for the President held at Conmy Hall, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Virginia.

Has there ever been this level of narcissism at this level before? I can't recall anything like it.

This is definitely one for the history books. It just belongs there for all the wrong reasons.

Public service as in straining the public to its breaking point while dividing the public into specific groups then tells himself in the mirror that he's changed the world for the better....

My younger brother is a little social justice warrior called Obama a man of truth and integrity he was not impressed that I laughed so much tears ran down my face and I apnea snorted- the scary thing is that there is at least 52 million like him out there.This kind of reminds me of Idi Amin he had more awards and medals than you could poke a stick at.

Is there historical POTUS precedent for this?

I guess when the death toll in Syria hit 400,000 after the civil war The Obama and The Hillary started when they sent Al Qaeda in there to topple the government, maybe that was what warranted this accolade?

This kind of thing will obviously become the norm for US presidents. I think we can safely assume that from now on all presidents will win the noble peace price prize either in their first or second terms along and other such awards as the Distinguished Public Service Medal.

You see, it all depends on what the awarders definition of "peace" or 'distinguished service"' is. Their definition of these terms could surprise the masses.

This has GOT to be FAKE NEWS. Has ANY President been awarded this medal by one of his appointees before? Even Obama isn't THAT mentally out of balance.

I say The Obama should also get the Purple Heart, a Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction, a Congressional Medal of Honor, and probably throw in a couple of cool CIA Distinguished Intelligence Cross'es.
