Pro-marijuana organization DCMJ will begin distributing the 4,200 joints at 8 a.m. on Jan. 20 on the west side of Dupont Circle. The participants will then walk to the National Mall. At four minutes and 20 seconds into Trump's speech, DCMJ founder Adam Eidinger says protesters will light up. He says the giveaway is legal as long as it's done on District of Columbia land. Those smoking on federal land risk arrest. Eidinger says the group wants to send a message that the federal government should legalize cannabis.
How awesome would it be if Trump lit up as well? (I say that kind of tongue-in-cheek, but I really do hope that he's less behind the war on drugs that I think he is...or, at least, less apathetic about it as I think he is)
Still, the reality is that it's still illegal at the federal level, and with as much federal authority that will be in the vicinity, I don't think that this stunt will go over well for many of those lighting up. Hopefully it'll be legal for his next inauguration (I say that with the hopes that he does a good job, not because I have embraced him in that position yet).

We wouldn't have half the crap we have now in the world If our leaders had a puff together.

If you want to be technical, it is illegal everywhere since it is illegal federally.
I might decide to go to this.

Don't worry. Teens have crushing and snorting pills they get from the doctors by pill shopping for years wonder why hepatitis is rampant among youth? If you want to save your kids, start demanding locker and personal searches everyday and demanding medication lockers for students l.

I'd like to keep drugs out of kids hands as much as the next person, but forced invasions of privacy like that is NOT the way I'd like to go about it. Schools should be building trust with these students, not wiping their ass with it.
