So were we right? About Osama Bin Laden's death?

Back in about 2011 a battle of sorts raged here on ATS. A battle concerning news that seal team 6 had killed Osama and dumped his body at sea..
There was enought tension and stress here that Mods were stepping in.. One side saying he was in fact dead many years before, the other saying he was still a CIA plant and wouldn't be killed... But the biggest amount of disbelief came from the burial at sea... With no photographs mind you.. This was just too easy a way out, it didn't jive with many here... Though some thought that the not wanting to make a shrine out of his grave made total sense..

Well fast forward to 2016...

Stratfor a global company, well known in the Intel circles, has infact has taken over a large portion of the CIA workload... Now In Addition to the DNC, Hillary, Pizzagate stuff there has been some interesting things in the wikileaks emails..

Mr. Fred Burton, vice director of Intel at Stratfor.. Makes a interesting comment when emailing about the OBL body issue...

I for one find this very ironic in fact... Now that we live in a time where the constitution was just trampled, propaganda is being used in the name of fighting propaganda, fake news about fake news... That so many who fell for these stories may have a chance to learn the truth

I remember posting that thread very early about him being buried at sea and you are right, that thread did blow up with a lot of controversy.

Right from the beginning when posting it, I was questioning it and the validity of it. Seemed to me it was as full of it as the 911 original story.

Now I find myself wondering if we are gong to go down the same path again with people still believing the buried at sea tale because that is what the news said so it must be true... Blah

Well if you mean him dying, yes that is old news... Every time he died it was old news ... But now we have Intel sources saying the burial at sea bit didn't happen... But yeah the emails it seems are old news, but I think that info was buried or banned from here... Anyone talking about the OBL story was going against the party line here

I had issues back then with the entire thing... Espesially regarding our rights..
What right did we have to go into another country and execute a innocent man...and I say innocent, because he was never charged or convicted ...

Would we allow another nation to do the same to us?

Perhaps it is that type of information that was meant to be uncovered, rather than some splashy, public sex scandal. Maybe the latter was simply window dressing to get widespread attention. Maybe they knew people like yourself would continue to dig rather than simply assume the obvious was the actual intended leak, and focus on that to the exclusion of anything else that might be hidden there. Imagine what might be uncovered if a concerted, dedicated group of researchers were to zero in on digging for other things similar to what you found rather than spinning their wheels on the juicy and (seemingly) obvious. I would be willing bet there's more of the same, and you're on to something.

P.S. Of course they lied about OBL. I never believed that ridiculous B movie ending...but I know a lot of people who swallowed it whole without tasting it first, and that was precisely what they expected everyone else to do. They think they know us better than we know ourselves. I wish more people would stop proving them right about that.

Well he is the son of a billionaire family
which is not only friends but also business partners (Carlyle group) with an ex US presidency dynasty..
The burial at sea may have been Obama doing Bush a favor
and letting him take the body back to his friends and business partners.

That definitely looks clear he wasn't buried at sea.

What got me was I had the tv on before obama announced anything.

So I saw them ready to go with a "grave announcement" and then no what another hour passes they change the speech.. I knew I was being lied to I just didn't know what the lie was. But it seemed like something bad happened and then they made a feel good story to go along with and cover up whatever really happened

I think the grave news was about losing seals..

Anyway in my world osama was already dead. But I could be wrong. It's just when you make lies about something I have to go back and question the entire story.

The emails at least the way I read them sound like no one saw a body just expected a body on the way. They might not be in the know either ya know? Just because they expect a body doesn't mean there is one?

The way the Obama admin paraded his death and used it for political theater to improve "approval", and how everything that might be questioned was eliminated from even being able to question it, then navy SEALS getting all killed after that so they can't talk, ever, then... and then...Who knows what the truth is. Maybe just figure the opposite of whatever fairy tale Obama puts out is more likely.

The same exact methods here were used by Obama in all the other scandals where criminal conspiracy existed, but couldn't be questioned, "or else".. Ridicule, character assassination, etc.

Plus they have illegally used the classification system to try to hide all these routes leading to anything resembling truth in any of these past happenings.. Fast and Furious, the list goes on and on..

The burial at sea was false. CIA didn't want people to know they made a taxidermy out of him.

We generally don't afford foreign enemies of the state a trial by peer. Nor do they afford our citizens a trial before bombing them into oblivion.



And as far as I remember, Pakistan's own generals helped us (although I recall that situation being a bit sketchy).

Yeah, the whole thing was too convenient. BS excuse used for not showing the body and then dumping all evidence to sea. These administrations really think they are talking to children.

Western media has no problem plastering Kaddaffi's and Hussein's corpse all over the news after their deaths. I'm sure the administration would have put the Kab bosh on that if it was a "national security problem".

This is all theater for the dumb humans...
