It is believed he is a 22-year-old Turkish police officer from Ankara and in the special forces

Definitely special forces or had training of some kind, look how he handles the weapon.

From the video the shooter does not appear to be any kind of Manchurian Candidate. The way he is shouting his message, the way he nervously paces back and forth, indicate to me an ideologically motivated gunman. If he was a victim of MK Ultra he would just kind of stand there, with a vacant look on his face.

Though that does not preclude the involvement of confederates.

If that's true then it would be a big worry for Turkey.

You can definitely see the flap of his sweater / jacket near the left side of his chest move from the round exiting...

Seems like the shooter knew enough to put the rounds towards the vital areas (i.e. looked professional).

Just saw this picture, it seems the shooter was his security guard? What about the guy next to him?

It's insane that we as a society will probably justify pulling thousands of men away from home just to die all because ONE man decided to shoot another. Thousands dead for nothing having to do with themselves, all political warmongering and most likely planned ahead of time just to start a war the decision makers don't fight have to fight in.

I'm sure the Russian narrative has been weaved into this conflict which will somehow pull America into it and have a lot of people supporting the decision. I'm sure this has been planned for years now, it's all to bring war-profiteers to the 'rescue'.

If Russia attack Turkey - it's going to raise the question of NATO support for Turkey once again.
All NATO country's will be involved immediately to decide whether to go to war with Russia in defence of Turkey.

Google translated Andrei Karlov, a common enough Russian name, as "Andrew Charles." Nothing to see there.

Why would Russia want to attack Turkey?

Start WW3? No. US involved? No. Terror group involved? Yes. that is what terror groups do. Create fear and confusion.

The question is who is held responsible when Russia retaliates because it will happen.

Anything that drives a wedge between Turkey and Russia is good for the "Coalition", that 'unnamable' organization that 'doesn't exist' that runs turkey from Brussels and Washington.

Surely there must be a video Russia can blame this on.
