Donald Trump almost mocking his supporters in a pretty arrogant fashion.
Well, there are some people who like to play the role of the dominant. And there are some people who enjoy playing along with the dominant. Nonetheless, it should have no place in politics or governing.

Did Trump Play His Supporters?

every professional politician on the planet plays their supporters, you just hope that enough falls your way for you to make out a bit better than you were before hand.

Of course he played his supporters. When he said he could shoot someone in the middle of the street and his supporters wouldn't care, he was right. Now that he is backtracking on his promises/ideas, they are still lining-up to fall on the sword for him.
Good thing is that we get to watch those dishonest Trump supporters expose themselves as hypocrites.

I don't feel played. I'm happy with his choices so far. Now the left got played pretty good imo. Just look around, they're still in shock they lost. I guess they let fake news determine to many facts for them.

I think a lot of them know he's mocking them. But they don't care because: 1. they still believe he's better than Hillary, 2. their Republicans now control both the Presidency and Congress, and 3. they'll get to push through the policies they want. Trump could say he lied about the Trump Wall and they'll still overlook it.

I think you are right. I think they are not really concerned with truth or substance, so much as they are concerned with
the appearance of being right. I guess I forget some people are more concerned with feelings and how things appear, than thinking and how think actually are.
I think I am finding out that I think Trumps supporters are worse than Trump himself, they really have no shame or compass.
At least Trump knows he is BSing his brilliant supporters, they actually believe in the things they are angry about even though those things are mostly innuendo based.

I apologize for assuming. I saw the fat oompa-loompa remarks, and given your proclivity for name calling and other base insults, assumed it was you doing the alienating for political reasons.

I agree that it is demeaning to his supporters to go onstage and basically 'make fun' of his own supporters.
In a speech today he called his supporters violent, and vicious during the campaign. It's wrong for him to talk down to the people who voted him in. (I know it's cnn but the clip is there to see him saying it)
www.cnn.com...
No, some of us are basing our opinions on observation of his past behavior and comparing it to the probable course of action revealed in his current choices.
