Florida Woman Arrested Calls Sandy Hook Massacre "HOAX", And Threatened To Kill Parent of a Victim

Lucy Richards who believes the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax was arrested and charged with making a series of death threats against a parent whose child was killed in the 2012 massacre.

Prosecutors said "Ms. Richards is among a small group of conspiracy theorists who believe the mass shooting never happened and her beliefs motivated her to make the threats." According to a copy of the indictment, Mr. Richards made several statements to the parent on Jan. 10, saying in part that “death is coming to you real soon and there’s nothing you can do about it.” She also wrote to the parent, identified as L.P., saying “Look behind you, it is death.”

Earlier this week, a North Carolina man showed up armed at a Washington pizzeria, bent on rescuing children held in sexual slavery. The restaurant, Comet Ping Pong, had been the subject of conspiracy theories on the internet insisting that Hillary Clinton’s campaign operatives were running a child sex ring out of the restaurant.

Twenty-six people, including 20 first-graders were gunned down at the school in Newtown, Connecticut, on Dec. 14, 2012. Gunman Adam Lanza used a Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle to launch his attack inside the school before killing himself.

And this is the problem when people don't bother to fact check and properly research a topic while believing everything that agrees with their positions. We've seen this recently with the Pizza Gate gunman and now this moronic woman.

No need many do that with ease without any help.
I agree with swills this is the problem when the gullible do their research with just opinion and not facts.
We need to step up with our source checking and stop jumping on political bandwagons.

CTers that cross into violence and threats need to understand a few things. One being its very discrediting for all as a whole. Though, that may beyond some of them due to mental issues.

Some of these topics you need a firm mind to divulge into sometimes despite if you are mentally sound or not, as it can still affect you. Looks like some may have had a predisposition to acting out due to mental issues or other life stressors.

One has to wonder if this woman is a part time actor

Dude, people like this lady do all the work for whomever it is you think is trying to make CTs look bad. TPTB don't have to do anything at all when there's morons like this running around.

Meanwhile cops are being shot because of propaganda pushed by the govt and MSM.
Whether it's Sandy Hook conspiracy theories or the police racism conspiracy theories, unstable people can be influenced.
That said, the people to blame for violent or threatening behaviour are the perpetrators and no one else. Not a web site, not the govt., not a newspaper... no one else. Any associations to spread the guilt are almost always politically motivated.

But if people actually bothered to do that, there would be very few conspiracy theories!
They would very quickly realise what they based their claims on was just nothing but made up nonsense. As examples the claims Obama's BC was forged, he was not a natural born US citizen, or the claims made about 9/11, that mini nukes, silent explosives, painted on thermite or beam weapons from space were used.
