I hope people realize that this isn't a thread in opposition of Trump, world war three is inevitable. Between the two candidates, Hillary would have lost the global war by way of her corruption and betrayal.

The UN has got to go. There is no victory in defeat, and America needs every advantage.

My God... you guys are hilarious...

So far I have heard that birth control will be outlawed, homosexuality will soon be treated with electrocution, the sky will go dark with coal ash and the US will look like Mordor, the poor will be put into FEMA camps....

And you guys laughed at us when we were worried about REAL crap like Healthcare and Gun Control.

I have no love for the guy either since he is a Progressive but let's get real.

I have avoided most of the political threads until after the election but really, this crap is borderline crazy now.

You are turning into Infowars on steroids!

Exactly. All Trump has done so far is prove people wrong. So the wheels are just going to fall off now...yeah right. I'm saying this right now, he may not be able to do everything he said but he will do a lot of it. All it takes really is conviction to see it through and work with anyone and everyone to make it happen. What is his main plus? MAKING DEALS. It's what he does. Think about it.

Write the novel.. it could be a best seller with possible Hollywood film production interest...

Good luck on selling that to Hollywood.

You're going to need it.

Trump's main concern is to stay alive long enough to implement his plans. He is pissing on a lot of peoples fire right now and if he even makes it to inauguration I'll be surprised. High muckity muck will not tolerate his meddling in their plans.

I wouldn't discount the possibility.

Think of it as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" — but for real

The Wargame, which was set in the year 2025, explored critical space issues, from spacecraft jamming to cyber warfare attacks on ground-to-space control infrastructure to the use of anti-satellite and directed-energy weaponry.

I see it differently. This is America taking back it's sovereignty after decades of communist/socialist/progressive infiltration of American society, culture, politics and government. This has been in the making since the 60's and has morphed into various different forms throughout the decades with all having the same goal. Hillary being elected would have put the nail in the coffin and this country just dodged the first bullet of what would have ultimately been a coup. There wouldn't have been another party winning another election for decades. I'm glad our democratic republic always seems to balance out one way or another. But the war is not over and trust me they see it as a war more than we do.

What I see is all the Trump voters putting all their hope and faith into Trump thinking he's going to CHANGE DC, and all this great sounding rhetoric. To me they sound just like all the folks that voted for Obama in 2008. They were all filled with hope and joy about how things were going to CHANGE.

But in the end here were are in 2016, and the reality is ain't nothing CHANGED.

I very much enjoyed reading your OP.

You have a pretty good handle on some of the issues with respect to space, space warfare and the International laws in place regarding same.

The problem is that although organizations like the UN can "enact" international law, they are woefully uninformed as to many of the realities regarding capabilities, etc.

Starting with the basic premise that many still believe regarding the weaponization of space. I think if people sat back and thought about it carefully for 2 minutes they would realize that notion is absurd. It's similar to nuclear weapons on Earth in that just because the weapons exist, doesn't mean anyone wants to use them.

There is a general rule when it comes to the disparity between what technology citizens and the government has; the government is usually 50 years ahead in technology. There are a few technologies that have been made public, but they are older versions of current systems.

Another excellent point and one which I think many people are not aware of at least to the degree that these differences exist.

A quick Wiki search on DARPA should open some eyes.

Star and Flag for your efforts.

ETA - why did you completely gut your OP with a massive edit? Guess we have nothing left to discuss. Sad...

He's not even president yet. No president elect has ever received this much hatred before even taking office. Look at Obama, all the thing he ran on either failed or he just flat out lied. We are still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and that was one of his main themes! Still in both countries. GITMO still open. No green jobs. Healthcare is completely broken, unless of course if you are dirt poor, then you get it free on the backs of the middle class. It also sucks! Way too expensive. And the transparency thing WTF? Anything but transparent.

People need to chill the f*** out. Obama was a failure. That is why Trump won and nobody knows what Trump is capable of at this point.

I would take it a step further and say that much of it imo is misplaced hatred although I guess admitting being wrong or being civil enough to at least giving the benefit of the doubt is just too much to ask of some of the people currently letting their hatred flow through them....

The anger should be place square on the doorstep of the DNC but of course....it won't be

It is no secret President-Elect Donald Trump's disdain for the U.N. and international laws.

I also have disdain for the U.N. and International Laws.

What does concern me is that we start following and enforcing the laws of the United States. I am encouraged that this will soon be the case.

No he won't, why he is a business man and a very successful one at that.

A good business man can walk into a meeting, make his own agenda into his opponent's agenda and at the end of the meeting all leave feeling like they have gained something.

Refusing to Allow Iran to develop nuclear technology though is too late already and that was the worse mistake Obama could ever have made and indeed the very worse mistake Putin did make since I have no doubt THEY will use it so I should set your eye's a little further to the northern middle east, Iran to be precise, oh they may not use it from there own flag but it will be them when it happen's even if it is attributed to a terrorists organization.

It is the United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization that is in need of the United States of America.

We are the major and most of the time, the only contributor.

It is not in the nature of Americans to yield to a foreign political entity.

I doubt it, this is exactly the reason few voted for Clinton. Had she won the risk of war would have escalated dramatically. She is very much one of the cabal.

Question: What has the UN done for anyone lately, and why should we shoulder at least 25% of its annual operating costs by ourself?

The UN does a great deal of good e.g. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations Children's Fund, or the World Food Programme etc...

The Security Council is ineffectual at best.

However, I agree that the US provides the biggest share, but then the US national income (upon which the calculation is made) is the highest. If anything China underpays.

Thank you for the response, I don't believe I made any edits on the original OP.

When it comes to weapons in space, like any weapons, they are made to be used. WMDs are currently being used as a deterrent, however that will change during economic collapse and global upheavel, particularly as the US pulls away from the UN.

People don't realize the implications of Trump pulling away from NATO and the UN, these organizations have shifted their ideology towards communism. I believe these organizations would decree the US a danger to the world, and would pull together a vote that official declares a need for 'humanitarian intervention' against the US.
