Until they make a confirmed kill, its all Bravo Sierra.

This is just a 1,000 yards range. Or 4x the distance.
I'm not even going to start on the physics

For the Lobaev? Unknown. Changes with configuration, but SVL variant chambered for .408 Chey Tac is believed to be used by the Federal Protective Service of Russia.

The Chey Tac that outshoot them though is 375.

There is more to snipers than the rifle, and there is more to the rifle than the theoretical range in optimum, laboratory conditions.

The longest confirmed sniper kill in a combat situation (rather than target) was a British soldier in Afghanistan. The range was c. 2,500 metres (that's c. 2,700 yards) and he shot two targets, so a bit of showing off perhaps. He was using a Accuracy International L115A3 with an operational range of c. 1,100 metres.
