Russia tells citizens to ‘prepare for nuclear war with West’

Russia has warned citizens that a nuclear war with the West could be imminent - sparked by clashes in the Middle East.

Zvezda, a nationwide TV service run by the country’s Ministry of Defence, said last week, ‘Schizophrenics from America are sharpening nuclear weapons for Moscow.’

I'm not claiming that WW3 is definitely going to happen. Let's assume if it were about to happen, how would it look? Would it look exactly like what's happening now?

Paul Craig Roberts made a bold prediction:

I understand M.A.D., and I understand the "cooler heads will prevail" theory. This time Moscow is saying that Washington is incapable of being "cooler heads." Schizophrenics aren't capable of that, are they?

There is no way around it...whomever you support on the next US election. On this issue alone...it is quite clear that a vote for Hillary draws one step closer to the scenario from the OP.

Just over 30 days away from further escalations. Unfortunately, Britain is not going to escape it. I was really hoping that Theresa May would distance the country from America and dial back the relationship. This time around it's Russia who are the comparative good guys.

This week Russian authorities are conducting massive civil defense training involving 40 million people nationwide. The drill comes amid a spike in tensions between Russia and the US after the collapse of the two nations’ cooperation in Syria.

The four-day exercise launched on Tuesday includes 200,000 rescue professionals. Almost 50,000 vehicles are part of the drill.

“Our priority during the drill is to train evacuation of the civilian population from potentially-risky areas,” Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov, who oversees all civil defense in Russia, told Interfax.

The drill is meant to test coordination between federal, regional and local authorities, feasibility of contingency plans for emergencies, the state of civil defense infrastructure like shelters and emergency supply stockpiles, and other aspects of the system.

Emergency services are expected to “prepare suggestions on how to improve our potential,” the minister said.

Exercises such as these are held annually in Russia since 2012. It is timed to October 4, which is Civil Defense Day in Russia.

At least THEY (The Russian population) are prepared and are not dumb downed compared to what other "certain" countries goverments are shoving down the throats of their citizens with only a 3 minute memory span when it comes down to digging into the REAL news of what is going on on our planet and the consequences of what certain governments and their leaders are creating for our future generations ...

Sad... but at the same time I say well done to the Russian people for staying real and preparing for what other 'ceratin" countries want the rest of the world to follow...
