Is Trump purposely throwing this?

Hillary keeps saying she's going to pay for things by raising taxes on the wealthy, and keeps telling us to visit her fact-checking website because she says Trump's budget will put us further into debt.

Remember that when Obama was campaigning his budget plan was also centered around raising taxes on the wealthy, the same as Hillary's. Obama has increased our debt more than any president before him. He's doubled it while he's been in office.

I admit Hillary seems to be the more articulate speaker, however she is articulating lies. Another 4 years of Obama's budget policies will only drive our economy further into the ground.

I do agree with what Trump is saying - we need to bring our jobs back home. Taxing goods from China and Mexico is also a very good idea. It provides tax incentives to keep our jobs here. Trump didn't articulate this very well, but he is passionate and I think more truthful.

Watching debate and laughing like hell. I hate to say it, but Trump is kinda blowing it. Of course, so is Hillary somewhat, but it's beginning to sound like a preteen schoolyard fight. Lol

Cheers - Dave

He's not stupid. He may settle down, but so far he is showing like an amateur against an old pro in the ring.

Except what everyone ignores about nafta is that all his buddies were all for it because it made them more money.

Funny how that gets ignored.

No, this is just Trump...always has been...always will be.

He's a clown, no serious rational person would ever support him.

LOL he really is getting upset about this tax thing. He should just stick to the line and move on. Thats it. Dragging it out like this is making him see nervous, and now he is deflecting.

Ahh well whatever. I am checking Trump for guns 2nd amendment survival, so I am abandoning this thing. He is just eating up all the bait and speaking while seeing red.

Trump said "That makes me smart" when Clinton accused him of not paying Federal taxes.

It might make him smart as a businessman but boasting about it is stupid as a politician. Taxpayers are voters.

Because he's not. He was right on point when he said that when US goods get shipped to Mexico, the Mexicans tax it, but when Mexican goods get shipped to the US, there's no tax. We need to change our trade deals and tax imported goods more.

Wikipedia article on US Customs duties

There are varying rates of tariffs on foreign imports based on the country of origin.

Trade agreements with Mexico

The goal of NAFTA was to eliminate barriers to trade and investment between the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The implementation of NAFTA on January 1, 1994 brought the immediate elimination of tariffs on more than one-half of Mexico's exports to the U.S. and more than one-third of U.S. exports to Mexico. Within 10 years of the implementation of the agreement, all U.S.-Mexico tariffs would be eliminated except for some U.S. agricultural exports to Mexico that were to be phased out within 15 years.[10] Most U.S.-Canada trade was already duty-free. NAFTA also sought to eliminate non-tariff trade barriers and to protect the intellectual property rights on traded products.

* There's a huge difference in the minimum wage between Mexico and the US. If Mexicans work for a fraction of what people in the US work for, why is there no tariff on goods produced in Mexico that are imported into the US? This puts our workers at an extreme disadvantage. Mexican goods can be made cheaper and sold in the US market and US factory workers simply can't compete.

Furthermore, countries like China will export goods to Mexico, and then those goods get sold to the US and China businesses can completely bypass our Customs laws.

Trump sounding very breathy and angry. He's is really losing his composure. If this continues, it is not good for Trump. She's getting under his skin.
