Obama used pseudonym in emails with Clinton

Is this why Hillary was given a pass on her email server?

The FBI released a large batch documents related to its investigation into Clinton’s private email server Friday afternoon. The files include notes from interviews with several top Clinton aides, including longtime adviser Huma Abedin.

The FBI said in its notes from an Abedin interview that the address on a Clinton email chain “is believed to be a pseudonym used by the President."

Abedin said she didn’t recognize the name and “expressed her amazement” that Obama used a pseudonym.

The FBI said she exclaimed: “How is this not classified?”

It seems logical that the president would have an alias email address to use if he knew he'd be sending messages to an unsecure server. Why in the world would he use an official email address to a private server for State business?

Which begs the question, what business was he communicating with anyone using that server?

If the president was involved in something shady, that would explain all the stonewalling of anything remotely prosecutorial towards Hillary as she would know what he had been doing as leverage against facing any kind of consequence for what she had been doing.

Am I on the right track here or does this idea not have merit?

I've felt they have not pursued Hillary because to do so could expose much bigger scandals. I think it was decided that the fallout from whatever the scandal could be is not worth the societal unrest that might result.

She reportedly asked if she could have a copy of the email.

Abedin also told the FBI that Clinton’s team had to inform the White House that she was changing her email address so that the president could receive messages from her.

Let's start with this. The FBI hasn't released anything on this except for its notes taken during Clinton's interview. And those they released on Sep 2.

Whatever the scandal might be, it probably involves Obama and there is now way just go after Hillary. My theory is that they don't want to pursue while he is in office as it would cause a major sh*tshow. You think the riots are bad now, just wait until Obama, our savior and Jesus Christ to the black community gets embroiled in a scandal while in office that could have led to his impeachment or worse.

They released some more documents today.

It says so in the article.

And the State Department said they released more work related emails Hillary forgot to give them.

The State Department has refused to make public that and other emails Clinton exchanged with Obama. Lawyers have cited the "presidential communications privilege," a variation of executive privilege, in order to withhold the messages under the Freedom of Information Act.

The report doesn't provide more details on the contents of that particular email exchange, but says it took place on June 28, 2012, and had the subject line: "Re: Congratulations." It may refer to the Supreme Court's ruling that day upholding a key portion of the Obamacare law.

They're hiding what he was up to behind executive privilege.

Interesting theory. I wonder, if true it seems that at least some inside the agencies may be trying to get at least some of the truth out. Maybe not all involved are willing to play along for the "greater good"

I'd imagine he wasn't using an alias for snips and giggles. The real question is what emails are the public and Congess not privileged to see that had his alias?
