James Woolsey, the 16th director of the CIA under Bill Clinton
has come out against Hillary, citing concerns of National Security
and her inability to lead The State Department in a way that
maintained it's mission and security.

His detailed answers as to exactly why are downright inspiring.

www.youtube.com...

I found it really amusing to watch those two talking heads
from CNN throw their contempt at him. He brushes off their
desperate attempts to pollute the matter with political ideals,
as he has served under both Democrats and Republicans.

Woolsey's take on Hillary Clinton's mishandling of classified information:

Do voters grasp the significance of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal and her mishandling of classified information? One certainly does — and he knows the Clintons all too well. James Woolsey served as CIA director under Bill Clinton during his first term, and he knows enough to tell the rest of us that Hillary Clinton can’t be trusted with the nation’s security.

On Hillary's understanding (lack) of intelligence matters:

“She demonstrated a complete lack of understanding and an inability to lead the agency she headed in such a way as to maintain its mission and security," Woolsey said in a statement.

“Based on the emails thus far released we know that Secretary Clinton also lacks the ability to lead her senior managers while complying with and maintaining the basic protocols designed to protect our government’s sensitive and classified information.

Spoiler alert; yes he just joined Trumps team as a
National Security Advisor.

Trump Secures Former CIA Chief Woolsey as Adviser

Former Central Intelligence Agency Director R. James Woolsey will serve as a national security adviser to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, adding a former Bill Clinton administration official with extensive experience in Eastern Europe to his roster.

Mr. Woolsey served as CIA director for two years during the Clinton administration. He has complained about having virtually no access to Mr. Clinton during the White House years, but he has also described himself as a long-time Democrat.

Also known for his famous quote -

"Remember the guy who in 1994 crashed his plane onto The White House lawn?
That was me, trying to get an appointment to see President Clinton".

Imo, this adds another layer of intrigue to the events to come.
while leaving no shortage of controversy!

Can Hillary be trusted with The White House?

Is the fact that he was Clinton's CIA Director lost on you?

No thoughts as to his personal knowledge of Bill and Hillary,
and how that might play into his decision?

Fair assessment given the abundance of evidence...kinda flys in the face of Bill Mahers low brow statement on prefering a deceased Hillary presidency to Trump.

What a circus

He is a paid advisor to the Trump campaign...

He was a paid advisor to John McCain's campaign...

He was promoted to CIA Director when Clinton took office an olive branch to the growing Neo-Conservative in DC in 1992,

BUT Pres. Clinton never liked him or trusted him..

Never once in his two-year tenure did CIA director James Woolsey ever have a one-on-one meeting with Clinton. Even semi-private meetings were rare. They only happened twice. Woolsey told me: "It wasn't that I had a bad relationship with the president. It just didn't exist."

en.wikipedia.org...

He finally outstayed his welcome when the BIGGEST SPY in US history, Aldrich Ames was found in his inner circle at the CIA...But he went to congress and said it wasn't his fault and that no one at the CIA should be accountable or lose their job. Clinton asked for his resignation 3 years into his 8 year term.

SO...ya...he was once CIA Director under Clinton, BUT he never even met with the guy alone, UNTIL Clinton asked for his resignation AFTER he refused to be accountable for allowing the biggest spy in US history to get dozens, if not hundreds, of CIA assets killed.

It is pretty refreshing actually...

I'll admit there are other factors to this I find equally compelling,
intriguing, such as his current connections and his intimate
knowledge of The Clinton's.

Yet I do appreciate the willingness of both to cross party
lines, with the concept of America's security a priority!

Politics above country...

Woolsey was CIA director when Aldrich Ames was arrested for treason and spying against the United States. The CIA was criticized for not focusing on Ames sooner, given the obvious increase in Ames' standard of living;[5] and there was a "huge uproar" in Congress when Woolsey decided that no one in the CIA would be dismissed or demoted at the agency

en.wikipedia.org...

Lots of CIA assets died under his tenure.

During his 3 years before forced resignation under Clinton he never even met with Clinton once alone and had only two meetings total where other advisors were present.

What "intimate" knowledge do you think he has?

Woolsey was only appointed by Clinton because of his ties to the Neo-Cons whom Clinton was trying to court. His relationship with Clinton was practically non-existent. He only ever had two meetings with President Clinton and neither one was a one-on-one.

A Neo-Con who was shunned by Bill Clinton who is also an adviser for Trumps campaign not supporting Hillary is hardly shocking.

And your point here is?
Are you saying this is the fault of The Director, or Clinton?

That makes his relationship (or lack thereof) with the Clintons even more surprising. He sounds like he would have fitted in beautifully.

Not shocking, but again...his lack of a relationship with Bill is
the upside. The Clinton's were corrupt from day one in Arkansas.

The fact that Woolsey was not part of that is to his favor,
especially considering the things that came to light after
The Clinton's major scandals following.

Cant have it both ways, Woolsey was no fan of the Soviets,
so that's another plus. Cant say he is going to be patting Russia's back.

So much for Russia and Putin hype....

That's why James Woolsey deserves a salute and a pat on the back for speaking the truth, instead of staying quiet, or lying..as Hillary would prefer he do.
