I put this into Google and was unsatisfied with the results.

Is it possible life is a wave function?

In existence it seems that all life does is process information and collect energy. And then we eventually collapse.

Or maybe a reaction diffusion system? The little brother compared to fluid dynamics, and gradient fields in physics?

Reaction diffusion equations are used by nature for so many things from regulating growth, immune systems and even heart beats. They can also be used to model population dynamics.

What do you mean with life?
What kind of wave function?
Process information? Collect energy? What do you mean by that?

He's trying to put together micro and macro universe.
Impossible, for now

Sure, why not.

We could also say it's just some matter and energy continuously transitioning from one state to the next.

Yes, life is a wave function. It's also many other things.

If this is what I think you mean, I wonder what would happen if you constructed a way to mitigate the diffusion aspect. A force field growing more intense? Too much contrast? There's the alternative where the diffusion pattern leads to stasis. If this is what you mean. It could relate to the op in that what he says suggests connectivity, or something tied together collapsing in on itself..

Like this? The left and right side of the string/wave are bound tightly together and functioning perfectly..The middle is chaotic..everything everywhere..a break in the wave..

Or..maybe nothing like that at all?

Thanks,

No. It's God's graduate thesis in organic chemistry.

I mostly don't understand why things are more likely to be a wave on a larger scale than the micro, like the universe and what not.

It reminds me of fractals.
www.apophysis.org...

toying with them, I've found shapes like a galaxy to be rather unimpressive and easy, while making a 'stem grow' or anything smaller was more difficult and intricate.

There's no such thing as matter - only slightly slowed down energy.

We just switch back and forth between the two states like a traveler with itchy feet.

From my point of view.

Everything around you is energy controlled on a probability field so it is not just life but reality. The double slit experiment wave function is a measurement on how the probability field was at a specific point in space and time.

Then we have synchronicity that some souls have experienced that can be explained as 2 states/events in space time connected in some way to each other.

imo, if space is a wave of sorts, then maybe life is also a wave of sorts

See my signature, and just tweak the conversation slightly to fit your question.
A: Suppose life is a wave function.
B: OK, what would that imply?
A: I dunno.

If unlike "A", you do know what that would imply, please explain.
