Nice one on the old Top Gun patch and a few others in there from the 80's, such a great time period. Liked the 6 Sqn and 37 Sqn RAAF patches. 37 Sqn is RAAF Richmond which is up the road about 30 mins from me. I flew with them a few times as a cadet on C-130E's in the 80's. Still remember being on a training night flight in about 85 when the rookie slammed it into the deck so hard I thought we were going to snap the fuse.

We used to love when they'd come through. Between the, "You got me a wrench, here's a case of beer" and the fact that nine times out of ten they were self sufficient beyond getting them tools or stands, they were some of the easiest guys we dealt with. And every so often they'd do something that turned out funny as hell to us.

Nice photo, looks like it was hammering down as well. I used to work in that area for quite a few years, and went into Airbus quite a few times. Had some great times eating my lunch watching the Beluga ST come and go.

It was...but glorious sunshine today!!! XL2 has been back and gone again today as well as most of the ST fleet...loads of wings going out. I don’t work for Airbus but am in some other hangers near the end of the runway..good spotting area..T2 hawks from RAF Valley often do rollers here as well as RAF A400’s. There are also two BAC Strikemasters based here on the airfield which are active mainly during the summer months doing air shows etc.a reply to: nelloh62

Always keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you.

Now, I can't quite put my finger on it, but something feels off here.

The Sky Harbor shots aren't easy to get. Snapping a shot at 60 mph out the window is a real hit or miss thing.
