The father did not break any laws. The father did not kill anyone.

He used his right as an American to attend the rally and it was his choice alone.

It's sad that his reputation is now tainted because of what his son did, and it's sad that people will use something like this to take partisan political pot-shots.

Grow up people.

He has a hateful radio program filled with nasty comments, not against the law either and nobody said that so the point you are trying to make is off topic. The point is the left bash racist people who support Trump but completely ignore this story.

Having the guy there...and placed where he was (directly behind Hillary)...was planned as Twitter reply 'bait' to Trump...a-la Khan.

Imagine the outcry and outrage from the media...if Dylann Roof's dad was standing right behind Trump at a major rally.

You KNOW the story would be all over the MSM for a week.

Correct that the father has not broken any laws and has fiercely disavowed his dead sons actions and explained his love of this country...

But this OP, Trump and Trump supporters are of the mind that we should execute him....families of terrosists...so of course this OP is a natural extension of that thinking.

"With the terrorists, you have to take out their families," Trump said during a "Fox & Friends" interview.

He argued that such tactics were necessary because the terrorists claim to not care about their own lives.

"When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families," he repeated.

"They care about their lives, don't kid yourselves. But they say they don't care about their lives. You have to take out their families."

I am a moralist and would NEVER call for the execution of any human not in line with right or wrong, black or white, good or evil...

Get off this op please unless you learn to read and see that nobody has called for an execution either in the literal or the abstract...

nice streeeeeeecchhhhh...but no. No one is calling to kill this kids father. After all, he is a US citizen. Trump was referring to the families of those who live in state sponsored countries of terror. If you want to attack our country then you should be prepared for your family to suffer if you put them in harms way. Qaddafi and Hussien both lost children to the US. Do they count either?

Then again, it should not be a big deal since the Obama administration killed a US citizen on foreign soil including the mans son.

I guess having a gay sibling makes me somewhat terrified of a Stone Age religion who would see my sibling put to death… So forgive me if I'm a little scared about the left's embracing of this ridiculous political ideology masked as a "religion".

Do you fear Christianity as well? There have been Christians in America trying to get the death penalty for just being gay. You're worried about the wrong religion.

Maybe you liberals could practice what you preach and actually defend the rights of those who are oppressed…

Like who? Liberals have been sticking up for the rights of the oppressed. Minorities, Gays, Women's rights and the peoples right to exercise any religion just who is being oppressed they aren't sticking up for? Oh and please don't say something stupid like Christians are being oppressed.

Oppressed by millions of Islamists who view my wife's brain as a shadow of mine and my siblings sexuality as a perversity and a sin to be punished.

Many religions think the same way but it's only Islam that's the problem huh?

Cite an example of American courts punishing homosexuality with death by stoning...

I realize you are the resident n chief defender of Islamic radicalism but you have got to be kidding...

Conflating Christianity in the modern west with Islamiism is so obtuse I can barely focus on how to defend such an absurd statement...

The sky is blue...water is wet...Islamo-fascism yearns for the genocide of not only homosexuals but all infidels(you included) and the subjugation of my wife to my masculine rule...

I mean, come on buster...you can't seriously conflate the 2 ideologies in the same breath without dialing back the clock half a millenia to the Inquisition Era..

There is no way you can type that with a straight face.

These people visited their murderer son & daughter-in-law. They saw ammunition and military gear around their apartment, but didn't call police. Arrest them for aiding & abetting Islamic terrorism.

Noor Zahi Salman, Mateen's wife, has been missing for 8 weeks. Media is completely ignoring it. You don't think there is an agenda here?

No. I don't see an agenda in play.

I don't disagree with you, but there's also absolutely no doubt in my mind that if this involved a similar situation at a Trump rally, the media and the Hillary supporters would be running wild with it. It just looks bad. While the father certainly isn't guilty by association, its probably the last visual that the Hillary campaign was hoping for to come from that rally.

That very well may be true. If this was Trump, I'm sure many would make a big stink out of it.

Not sure what point you are trying to make, other than it sounds like you hope he shows up to the Trump rally, for whatever reason.

Are you hoping for violence against this man?

Yes, I remember that topic from the debates.

People cheered when Trump said we had to be "firm" with the families of terrorists. They cheered for the bombing and killing of innocents to send a strong message.

Are you discussing governments?...or Religions?...because you seem to be conflating the two above..

Are you conflating the "modern west" with Christianity?

On governments...yes the "modern west" is much more tolerant than 3rd world countries that have theocracies..

On religions...Plenty of places on the globe where Christians are doing horrific things to gay people...

The "Lords Resistance Army" for example..

Uganda-Lord’s Resistance Army: Kill all Gays

Some Ugandans think Gay people should be subject to Capital Punishment
For the past two years, Christian Ugandan fundamentalists are fighting to enact an Anti-Gay bill.

Can you show one that has beheaded people for being gay? You should be more worried about whats going on in your own country instead of whats going on in a nation you have nothing to do with.

I realize you are the resident n chief defender of Islamic radicalism but you have got to be kidding.

You post a lie like that and you ask me if I'm kidding? Where has he defended Islamic radicalism?

Conflating Christianity in the modern west with Islamiism is so obtuse I can barely focus on how to defend such an absurd statement...

So you don't like it when your own tactic is used against you? There are many Christian terrorist over in several nations in Africa but they murdering Muslims so we hear nothing about that. Also there are numerous Christian terrorist organizations here in America but Christianity doesn't get blamed like Islam does when one of it's members goes nuts and kills people.

The sky is blue...water is wet...Islamo-fascism yearns for the genocide of not only homosexuals but all infidels(you included) and the subjugation of my wife to my masculine rule.

Total BS. The millions of non-Muslims that live in Muslim nations and haven't been killed or forced to convert just proves you are wrong.

I mean, come on buster...you can't seriously conflate the 2 ideologies in the same breath without dialing back the clock half a millennia to the Inquisition Era.

As the old saying goes what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
