Hey Aware, you can just call me KD, short and easy. Please, I have seen your writings on many threads that I responded to you. You have a very keen awareness (sorry no pun intended, LOL) about the world.

I am just so happy to be part of your friends and close allies. My poems, yes, speak of love and romance and intimacy. I can express myself that way, because that is how I imagine it.

Please post more and of course I'd love to hear from you and Kkeep you close to my cadre of friends here on ATS.

p.s. I thought maybe I went a little too far with my feelings, at best maybe 'R' rated, but were meant to express a simple thing called LOVE

I like it except for the last line.

"I can't believe you are mine".

The connotation is ownership.

Maybe "I believe we belong together" would be simpler, better?

Yes, I see what you are saying. By no means was I talking about ownership, it was a feeling that we belonged to each other. So part of the prose may have gotten in the way. But I understand. Thank you for your feedback and for reading the poem. Otherwise I hoped you enjoyed it.
