Why are Mods allowed to star posts more than us regulars?

We are members, they work for ATS... spend their free time keeping things under control...

I've been a mod... its not a nice job in many cases, and theres no pay

Who cares if they can give you a few more stars or flags then regular members

Just enjoy this wonderful place

I get the impression that Mods relieve the boredom by sticking their tongues in their cheeks a lot.

Start a thread, one flag and 12 stars in one refresh, joke with mod, learn they can star as many times as they want at a certain level at least.

When a thread gets shut down, typically any stars that have been aquired during that thread. You keep. Ive never had stars removed in such case.

Hmmm.. this revelation is concerning.
Akragon is this true? Can a mod do a drive by and click away at stars and flags?

If you've been wronged by this beautiful site, then I'm glad you had the integrity to call it out. And, in the end, banned or not, as long as you stick to your convictions, then at least you had more balls then ol Bernie.

You are loved here Domo, i would just ride it out. I mean it's only stars really and don't mean much in the long run. It's the good people here you get to meet, to make you laugh. To forget the world for a little while and all it's dread.

It cant be all that bad. Perhaps a great thread awaits, but is not getting noticed. I think its ok in that case to drive members to the thread. Perhaps such thread has speacial meaning to Super mods and up.😊

I think we shall have to wait for one of the STAFF to chime in on this...

I know ATS is diligent on picking their STAFF... and i have had experiences with Forum and game "staff" going rogue...

IF they give extra flags or stars, lets just say you earn it with your content
