Air conditioners are as big a threat as ISIS.

Ok... We know that CFC's are a threat. But equating it to ISIS?

The next time my air conditioner tries to kill me, I don't care how many CFS's it emits, I will just blast it with a 10 gauge.

John Kerry is not a good man.

Good men don't say asinine things like AC as big as threat a someone going around killing in the name of their supposed GOD.

That tells them it's ok to go around shooting people until blood runs down the street.

That tells them it's ok to cut children in half.

That it's ok to burn people alive.

That it's ok to strap suicide vests on, and walk in to crowded markets to kill people they have no beef with.

That it's ok to rig a dead man's switch to drive vehicles ( airplane's,boats,cars) to kill people.

No John Kerry ISIS is one of the biggest threat WESTERN nations face.

if he really did care about saving lives he would have said "tobacco is a bigger threat to life than ISIS" and he would be right but then the tobacco lobby would stop stuffing his pockets full of cash.

if we want to go down this road, hospitals are many times more deadly than either between medical mistakes and infections contracted while in hospital

Fox News is twisting words as usual.

Here's what he actually said:

“As we were working together on the challenge of [ISIS] and terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we–you–are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”

Kerry wants to save life. GASP!

This is about the Montreal Protocol where they try to phase-out certain chemicals and try to find alternatives that lessens the damage done to the environment.

Really?

How about that air conditioning (and its grandfather, refrigeration) have SAVED life on this planet.

Safe preserved foods and milk anyone? The nutritional (and medicinal--i.e., insulin) advances that a cool, controlled environment have contributed enormously to human welfare. Air conditioning has eased the suffering of millions....but hey, it's an election year...so let's be GREEN!
