Huma Abedin admits that Clinton burned daily schedules

Hillary Clinton’s closest aide revealed in a deposition last week that her boss destroyed at least some of her schedules as secretary of state — a revelation that could complicate matters for the presumptive Democratic nominee, who, along with the State Department she ran, is facing numerous lawsuits seeking those public records.

Huma Abedin was deposed in connection with a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit into Clinton’s emails — but her admission could be relevant to another lawsuit seeking Clinton’s schedules.

“If there was a schedule that was created that was her Secretary of State daily schedule, and a copy of that was then put in the burn bag, that . . . that certainly happened on . . . on more than one occasion,” Abedin told lawyers representing Judicial Watch, the conservative organization behind the emails lawsuit.

Abedin made the surprising admission in response to a question about document destruction at the Department of State. A lawyer for Judicial Watch asked: “And during your tenure at the State Department, were you aware of your obligation not to delete federal records or destroy federal records?”

Abedin was not pressed for more details.

Clinton has admitted to destroying “private personal emails” as secretary of state. But Abedin’s admission that she used so-called “burn bags” — a container that material is placed in before it is destroyed — for some of her schedules is the first time anyone close to her has disclosed destroying public records.

This entire mess has turned into an onion where each layer thats peeled away only reveals yet another layer of corruption and illegal actions by
Clinton.

Her testimony explaining Clinton burned her SecState schedule is an admission that Clinton broke the Federal Records law. Secondly it demonstrates once again Clinton is lying since she stated the only records that were destroyed were personal emails.

I would be at a loss if she is not indicted.

What's involved -
* - 18 USC § 1001 - Statements or entries generally (False Statements)
* - 18 USC § 1519 - Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy
* - 18 USC § 1621 - Perjury generally
* - 18 USC § 1623 - False declarations before grand jury or court

"Copies" of schedules...

Therefore, this is a pretty misleading title.

You can look up daily schedules online for the SoS and, I believe, their staff.

So this really doesn't mean much at all.

Really? Then why:

The Associated Press has been seeking Clinton’s schedule through Freedom of Information Act requests asking for Clinton’s public and private calendars and schedules from Jan. 21, 2009, through Feb. 1, 2013. The wire service sued the State Department for those schedules in 2015.

While she was Secretary of State, there is no "personal schedule."

As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was 4th in line in the order of presidential succession and as such is never "off the clock" or in other words, until she discontinued that position, she lived, breathed, ate, drank, slept as the Secretary of State and was never supposed to have made any other representation for any other organization during that time.

To reiterate, Secretary of State is fourth in line in the order of presidential succession. I don't think one gets to 'clock out' of their position unless and until they are relieved of duty. Even when he's on vacation, Obama is still the President of the United States of America; likewise for Hillary.

Any and everything one does while holding such a high level of public office is official business, you literally take a vacation from your private life when you become the embodiment of our governing system.
