The 'Why' of the barfight

i don't go to bars because im not in to fighting or violence i general. Partly because I don't like it, and mostly because I am big/strong enough to end up in prison on accident.

But my God, someone taking a swing at me over something stupid like pool hall ego....instant blackout rage. I don't know how you did it.

About the only thing that pisses me off in this world are my own mistakes, and small minds.

Do you hold your head high and return to that pissy bar ... even just the once ?

Or do you skip that and look for another place to hang ?

The thing to consider is; if these morons happen into your new venue they may think they were "winners'
and try to impress the other patrons with their masterful bully skills.

Easy bro...after the first punch you draw your concealed weapon and blow the MF away. Really...I carry a weapon and have ended scenes like you describe...assholes are assholes don't let them bully you just carry a weapon...evens the playing field real quick.
Check your local gums laws, take the training and keep it to yourself until it is needed...and don't go looking for a fight.

That's a good question. I am not sure whether to go back for karaoke and pool, or find another sleazy bar to get bloodied in.

What is your advice my friend? I feel that place is mine just as much as anybody and I'd hate to let one bully spoil my fun.

I would go back.

I would go later in the evening making sure I was sober.

Don't do anything other than what you normally do
but be ready for some lip.

I would ignore any trash talk but the minute that bully goes to touch you ... bam ! Unleash unreasonable and relentless force.
Then go to another dive.

Or nothing will happen and then you can carry yourself wherever and whenever you wish.

I am sure you will do what is best for you.

Yes, that was the most surreal part of my night...in a room full of people who know me only as mellow, polite, friendly, and generous...they all just stared at me dripping blood as if it were the most casual thing in the world. That is the sting I am feeling still.

Just an update: I actually just came back from a couple of games

Bullies nowhere in sight. I rocked a couple of games and had a good time
