Shut up. They can control people until they can't. Uprisings have happened throughout history. Nationalism does prevail.

The government now have to face up to the fact that we British people are sick of being ignored by them, we clearly dont trust them or Europe for that matter and they have made the people paranoid about a future and childrens future.

Yeah we'll have a few afterahocks to deal with but so will brussels haha its what the whole of Europe has watched eagerly and now i beleive our European brothers will want referendums aswell

Indeed! I'm rooting for it because it shows BALLS. Also because USA citizens need to "grow a pair" for our upcoming Presidential election. Hopefully Americans are paying attention to, and learning from the United Kingdom citizens' display of braveness. U.S. citizens can also dump leaders who have never had our best interests at heart!
