Ive actually seen that very thing. My best friend in preschool and early elementary school was a lesbian who wished she was a boy. She would wear boys underwear and pee standing up at the urinals like all the other bous. And it never bothered a single one of us. We laughed and thought it was funny cause she was trying to be like the boys. But we never thought it was even weird. Just a prerogative. Still have the mental inage though. She would have to lean way back to get a good arc, but nothing else was different. Had pretty good aim too.

Do you include the prpbability of odds in your pragmatism in this subject? Cause it seems very unlikely that a wpuld be rapist wpuld go through all the trouble, again sighting thatvtheres easier alternatives like simple abduction.

The whole toilet based on how you identify at any given time only effects women. guys dont care all that much. guys dont really care if other women use the toilets (go to any nightclub and you will see plenty of women using mens restrooms when their line goes on forever..and men dont care at all).

So...whats the solution then?

Rape, regardless of location or gender is still illegal. What does it matter, IMO, if a man goes into a restroom to use the facilities, washes, then leaves? If his BEHAVIOR in there is illegal, it should be reported. Otherwise, I see not issue her.e If it is "save the children" (typical fear mongering emotional argument) then why are parents allowing their children in the bathrooms unattended? If strict laws are put in place that demand that you "use the restroom that matches your anatomy", then a parent that has different anatomy form their child now MUST let the child go in there alone. That will increase their chances of all this fear of being assaulted....doesn't it? And a male child cannot legally enter a women's room with their mom then either.

No, MEN should not be allowed in the ladies room. Transgender people that are legally recognized in their new gender, however, do not fall into that category. I don't care what resides between the legs of someone in the locked adjoining stall if they're just there to pee.

What I object to is men who think that by virtue of having a wife or daughter, they're entitled to restrict ladies restroom access to anyone who doesn't look feminine enough. We've already seen cases of men chasing women out of restrooms based on looks. Police dragging women out of restrooms because they didn't look enough like women. Where do you draw the line? You want to pass new laws keeping transgender people out of restrooms. Let me ask you, how will you identify those transgender people? Will you arrange for your daughter to carry her birth certificate around with her? Kids are kids, and it's only a matter of time before she loses it, and sensitive ID information is lost. ID theft run rampant. No thank you. If you're not going to rely on birth certificates, what do you use to "verify" sex? I don't need any man gating access to the ladies room. It's not your space to regulate.
