But given the variety of transgender people and the variation in the brains of men and women generally, it will be a long time, if ever, before a doctor can do a brain scan on a child and say, “Yes, this child is trans.”

My Mother partied with the Beach Boys...no joke. They were VERY local on the beach scene here as you know.

You know I think we can take a lesson from looking back on the 80's. Like then this is just another phase that we'll go through. It will always be around in some form or another but the magnitude of it will subside like every other phase we've gone through.

It's just being magnified right now but like always, eventually people will just become bored with it all together and go on to something else at some point. Then it will resurface a few decades later a little different.

I think everyone should just take a lesson from history and a lesson from fight club and let it slide. Give it a little time and people will get sick of it all and find something new to obsess about.

My post said I worded my statement in a way that I had no intention of defending it because its too newish.

It's not falling apart. My life outside forums has yet to be affected in the slightest. That's not to say that it won't though.

It's a great country, it's going through some growing pains is all.

If it does go to hell though, Texas will be a microcosm when we leave to preserve the best parts.

That whole era was messed up. Too many drugs from the 70's caused the 80's. The worst of which was the hair. If I never see bangs that big again I'll die happy. I did like the chicks in the skin tight jeans with the rips in them though.

No my country is falling apart because we are being divided and conquered by ourselves. We live in a society where if one group does something and the other disagrees with it, it becomes a social war.

Let me be straight one more time, I am not here to bash transexuals. I've said it multiple times. If the law is made in a fair and politically correct way then it has become a law. My last straw was the constant bullying and black mail certain states have undergone because they refused to change their ways to suit and comfort such a small minority of people.

And in all honesty with the whole topic, if they did to Texas what they said they want to do, we would probably just laugh. Does the U.S. honestly think that Texas can be brought down by the government? We have too much of what the U.S. may some day need and the state could honestly be self sufficient if it ever receded from the U.S.
