From what I can find, he goes against the republican party of wanting to privatize or get rid of social security. He is going to raise taxes, but it will be sneaky like Reagan.

I think a lot of the anti Trump people are missing that even if he cant get rid of all the debt he would defiantly make a huge dent in it. We would most likely see results with in his first 4 years, if he wants that 2nd term.

All i hear from the Bernrie crowd is unlogicalness and hate. "he is Trump and i don't like him so he cant do that" even though he is the only candidate with any experience in the field. They would rather be taxed to oblivion.

obviously we'd have to keep programs that would only be a larger social cost if cut. but I think it is possible to eliminate the debt in 8 years.

I'm a Bernie supporter, and chimed in with my first post to say it could be done. Try not to lump us all into one train of thought.

He has never filed for bankruptcy. Four businesses he has had interests in, owned or put his name to have filed for bankruptcy.
You are either uninformed, don't understand the use of bankruptcy in business, or just unwilling to break from the simplistic view you hold in order to equate Trump to failure.

Richard Branson - another successful businessman - has also had numerous failures. Trying and failing is part of being a success.

This is a funny lie. It was clearly designed to appeal to gullible people who want to hear those words with no feasibility in reality. Yet it also sounds plausible enough and even like something we'd want to get the less gullible thinking, but in reality paying off our debt would be a disaster for not only OUR economy, but the world's economy. And if Trump tried this he'd be forever known as the president that sent the world into the biggest world recession ever.

Step 1 is always to set the target.

It would be nice to see the detail, but I suspect not many would actually understand it, so seems smart in a political race to talk about the goal as opposed to the intricacies of the plan. Only stupid people would try and explain detail to people who won't understand it and/or don't care.

I know what you mean. Even in this thread its one liners like "he is a mad hatter" with nothing to back it up. That is how the left argues. They have no point but they feel their dim-witted comments make them superior. These people dont even want to talk about the national debt. they think the government is one giant credit card.

I say slash and burn and start with those that have time to protest but dont work a day in their life, feeding off the labor of others. Stop all payments to the able bodied without children. Stop them cold..

To be fair, it wouldn't be impossible to accomplish this in 8 years, though it would take bold moves and a lot of people wouldn't be happy through the process. I don't think he would actually do it.

You didn't identify your self as a Bernie supporter, I might have stared if you did. Sorry to Generalize, but you do get get judged by the company you keep. that goes for both sides, but he left is extremely nasty to people who disagree with them.

If you're able bodied with no children there's unemployment assistance and that's pretty much it. The welfare system such as it exists in the US is built with the idea of supporting children, not adults.

What company? I don't affiliate with the left or the right. I chose Bernie as an individual who has ideas that make sense to me.

I think you're making assumptions that equally apply to some people of both parties.

I don't think Trump understands it himself. Paying off the debt is unfeasible. Though nice cop-out defending Trump's lack of details. "No point in explaining complicated things to people. They are too dumb to understand it. I'll get it done. Trust me." HA! Your words are pretty funny too.

Hah! Surely you can see this will lead nowhere for either of us and be nothing more than a time waster.

I'd rather not start down that road and in the process of getting nowhere derail the thread.

History of integrity and consistency. Good ideas for domestic spending, has articulated how to pay for his plans, good foreign policy, age makes him a 1 termer.

Rather than merely wanting to, Bernie will make America great again.

Elaborate on how his domestic spending and foreign policy are good?

From my understanding to afford the spending he wants we would have to be heavily taxed and we would be spending our debt every year. Sounds like we will be bankrupted very quickly. He wants to make an already corrupt government bigger. I also do not want more socialism because I think it is dis-empowering and encourages laziness; I should not have to support people against my will. It takes away sovereignty

I don't really know what his foreign policy is but i would think it is very PC and i cant see him being aggressive and fighting to keep America's interest.

I think he is just controlled opposition for Hillary the way he won't fight for the delegates she steals or he is a back up in case Hillary goes to jail. The elites he wants to "defeat" would gain more power from America being socialist and Globalization can not succeeded unless America is completely incapacitated economically. His stance on guns, climate change, and boarders shows me that he is most likely a globalist.

Ad hominem is the extent of Trump Supporter Logic ^^ should I quote the moderator clearly referencing your guys replies to me in this thread, and threatening post removal? Or do you have some insightful information about how it 'actually' works?

Still waiting for the quotes of me being Anti-Trump and Pro-Left. The reason I'm waiting is that's the only basis of your arguement, and is also incorrect.
