If Aliens have the technology to travel to our planet...why don't they cloak themselves?

Why don't they cloak themselves? How strange would it look to have a saucer flying around with a cloak hanging from it. It would look like a reaper.

Technology no matter how advanced will fail now and then for various reasons. Perhaps they do cloak themselves and those rare times they are seen is when the cloaking fails or they choose to show themselves.

For all you know they're quite active here and thanks to their cloaking you're completely unaware of how ever present they are. They could have personal cloaking technology, in fact they might be there with you now, watching you do whatever it is you do whenever you think no one is watching...

If the 1964 Gary Wilcox ET encounter is to be believed, the ETs themselves said they should not be visible to anyone within 100 feet of where they were located and were concerned that their apparent cloaking technology wasn't working at the time.

Although they had a variety of ships, they usually did not appear after dark because their crafts were much more observable then. The figure expressed great concern that their ship had been seen. When Wilcox explained how this happened, he was told that no one should be able to see the ship beyond 100'.

I am a bit skeptical of this report, but then on the same day in 1964 the Lonnie Zamora encounter report happened and the craft and creatures reported there might have been the same ones who talked to Wilcox.

Perhaps you might like to consider that in many cases they do but in some cases they don't. It would appear that your claim is insinuating that just because some can be seen that these are therefore the only ones there is.

I suggest this is somewhat an erroneous conclusion and something akin to - "in support of my own argument I submit as evidence, my own ignorance."

Perhaps you might like to reconsider the assumptions in your argument.

Are there not ANy Lunar surface entrances... Images? It astonishes 1 that with the probing of nearby VENUS - MARS and the MOON that no cavernous entrances are "Shared". EA*RTH has surface entrances that lead to underground caverns in various locations, so why wouldn't other nearby or even more distant Celestial objects also?

re-enacted of what many saw, that a cloaked ship came close to some trees near them, and the trees caught on fire and the fire department had to come and put out ground grass fires that started from the burning trees above.

They indicated the craft looked like a reflective disk that looked like the blue sky, but you could see it moving still and tell what it was. When they noticed it is when it shot towards them and caused the fires, as if it was having fun screwing around and teasing the local creatures how powerful they were.

Interesting report nonetheless, and it shows there are some cloaked ships buzzing around.

How do you know they aren't cloaked? The typical UFO isn't all that large, they have to have a much larger support craft within some sort of range. It takes a lot of energy to bend light and create a cloak, maybe a smaller craft can't do that but a larger one can?

Then again, there have been plenty of sightings which seem credible that weren't in stupid places such as Linda Napolitano.

Or, to give another theory. When we send scientists into the wild to capture some animals and briefly study them before re-releasing them, do we go directly into the biggest group of them or do we try to avoid disturbing the majority by capturing the ones on the outskirts?

Or of someone who accepts that their technology, while very advanced may still have limits. Either the machinery to cloak something requires a certain amount of space that isn't viable in a smaller UFO, or the power output required is much too high. Maybe both.

The fact is however, there have been a lot of alleged sightings of small to medium sized craft that just don't seem viable for long trips. However, we have never seen a large craft. That would imply that either there are no large craft, or that they have some sort of cloaking technology.
