Sudden Craving for Cheese toasties... What was your last craving?

Favorite toastie recipe.....no laughing!
thick bread, sharp cheddar cheese and thin cut dill pickles. Slather the bread with butter inside and out and toast in a frying pan till all hot and gooey.
Yummmmm!!

Insane craving?


Missed the celtic thing two weeks ago and now I have to wait another year.

Egg salad sandwiches.

I woke up this morning craving egg salad sandwiches... weird.

So yeah, I made a batch and have been gnawing on sandwiches (with a couple slices of dill pickles on the side) off and on all day today.

Sushi. Yesterday I wanted sushi.
I don't know why. I have never tried it before.
Yet there it is. Very odd.

Oh reminds me, our toastie maker of 8 years had to be thrown out last week as the toastie wasn't coming off and it ended up looking like a hatchet job. Definitely getting a new one.

Best toastie filling - cheese, onion, mushroom and salad cream - don't judge me.

Last craving - chip buttie from the chip shop with lashings of salt and vinegar. Best one for miles and cheap at £1.60.

I am having to take the £40 (!!!) multi toaster grill back. The Teflon came off. I am not a happy bunny.

So flat pamini press it is and a separate waffle iron.
