My significant other has recently joined up, her name is drag0nlady.

We love to cook, we just love good food in general.

Was thinking about some good ideas for stuff I haven't made, or ideas to make things we make better.

How about your best food ideas and favorite dishes to give me some ideas.

This morning I made biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs.

Tonight she made fried chicken mashed taters a chicken flavored fettuccine!!

It was delicious!!!

We make a feast basically every night, and love great breakfast on the weekends.

What do you guys love to eat?

When I make "Bs and Gs " as I call it, I cook 2 lbs of sage country sausage ( don't buy the cheap sausage it isn't as good)and chop it with a precision only ADHD can stimulate, until it is basically all beebee sized.

Then I add about 1 and 1/2 cups of flour, depends on how much it takesto soak up all the grease from the sausage.

Then about 1/2 gallon of milk, depends on how much flour I added.

Then I break out the pepper grinder and dole out a generous amount( don't skimp, pepper is delicious! )

Then just a pinch of salt.

Keep it on medium low heat, should take about 20 mins to thicken correctly, while stirring every couple minutes.

When we make meatloaf( OMG!! ) , this is her recipe, I never had it like this until I met her.

2 lbs hamburger, 1 lbs sausage, an egg or two, about 1 1/2 cups of crackers crumbs, ketchup and BBQ sauce ( sweet baby rays).

( I like diced Bell peppers and onions in it also)

On top is a mix of half ketchup and half BBQ sauce, and several strips of bacon.

Cook and hour to an hour and a half at 400 degrees.

With this I like mashed taters, " Hawaiian roles" and green beans.

And beer

Lol I'm almost 40 , but in good shape, and active in the spring summer and winter.

What kind of salad?

I like making chicken grilled , cook your fettuccine noodles and then take either prego spaghetti sauce or Alfredo sauce. Heat up either sauce then in a bowl put cooked fettuccine noodles the the cut up grilled chicken then either sauce. Mix it all together with tongs like making a salad. Then have mashed potatoes.
Great meal

I would eat that with a nice pork steak, cooked on the grill( charcoal every single time ) with mesquite chips.

And a 1lbs baked potato ( drag0nlady and I love the big taters)

Sounds yummy!
I, literally, can't tell you the last time I had fried chicken.
OR meatloaf...
BUT, I make gravy and biscuits quite often....

Tonight's dinner will sound boring but, it is baked fish, spinach and leftover tater salad from yesterday.

We grill out often in the spring/summer. Love cooking out...

My girls made their own pizzas...won't eat fish! LOL

I was thinking of some different pizza toppings to use in the future. I've been looking up some interesting ones on line.

Yum! I'm loving this thread, thanks!

Easter is coming up and I'm thinking of Ham as the main course. And everyone's favorite next to the Ham are the good ol' Deviled eggs. My recipe is basically mayonnaise, touch of mustard, sweet relish, black pepper with a sprinkle of paprika.

What are y'all's plan for Easter? And I forgot to mention the Mimosas and Bloody Mary's.

When cooking the ham make slits in the top and put brown sugar then pour beer over it and then put aluminum foil over top and cook at 350 for half hour to 45 mins. A couple of times take aluminum foil off and spoon the beer on top and re-seal. The beer will make it tender but also cooks out of the meat.
