Great sadness in the world this day

No one here would actually know this person... but a good friend of mine has passed from this world

A very kind and giving person, selfless.... and he will be missed greatly...taken far to early

Health care workers deal with death on a daily basis, but when we lose one of our own... especially at the age of 36, the world seems a lot darker...

He was my inspiration for my career choice... and without him i would surely have been lost several years back...

My home is in shock right now... how we could lose someone who meant so much to so many people is beyond words for me....

I needed a place to express my sadness, so as usual i turn to my online family at ATS

We will miss his sense of humor and the way he could make light of any situation no matter how tragic...

He was probably one of the smartest people i knew... words can not express the sadness in my community

One day we will meet again... but until that time, do what you do best brother! Keep em smiling!

I feel your pain and offer deep felt condolences. I've experienced loss of friend and family 4 times since November 2014. Painful sad.

My condolences, tell me your friends name and city. At my age I have lost most of the friends I went to school with and my 40th reunion is this summer. Class of 76.

Nothing I could ever say could ease your suffering so, I will just say that I am sorry for your loss.

The pain will ease and you will feel better someday...little by little...I don't know when that day will be it is different for all of us.

I will hope that if you hang in there, it will come.

Such a sad thing when one so young & selfless goes.

I think God reserves the best for Himself.

I truly am sorry to hear that. Losing someone who means a lot to you is never easy.

Sorry for your loss.

Losing anyone from your life is difficult, we have to live with the loss. Whilst those who have passed, continuously live obliviously.

My heart and prayers are with you and yours. Losing a loved one is a pain most of us know too well, and I'm sure many hearts and prayers are with you tonight. Since I have no words, I'll share this poem that seems appropriate, and gave me some comfort when my brother passed.

Gone too soon a light
Fleeting moments of sharing
A new flower grows

Thank you very much everyone...

I am greatful that i at least had one more night to spend with him last week

We laughed all night... Debated everything from the bible to the use of various substances

I know he is still around, likely with his mom in these dire times

And though i ache i know there are people who are in mourning that were closer to my friend then i was.

That is where my thoughts will be... And i hope that those who mourn will be comforted by the thought that its only the body and not the self that expires

For though its hard for many to believe... I know this is not the end, and i pray that they will come to know this as well

The need for him must have been so great to take a person so amazing... So soon, so unexpectedly

And not even by accident, but my the very will of God
