True real existentialism is not everybody's cup of tea. Some are born pure, others just study the bible untill the cows come home....

Although I think the ending of the bible, the book of revelation, makes some very interesting point, made by some lunatic, I prefer to engage in REASON. But I love real lunatics. IF they know they are lunatics, of course. If not, not. Wanna discuss the "book of revelation" with me, christians? I'm not an expert, but I have an idea.

Anybody? Who is not into quoting the bible all day long only, but is honestely interested?

By the way, I wrote some play, called: The Divine Comedy - Updated version 2015. Just to tell you what you're getting yourself into, IF you have the courage to enage in a discussion with me regarding that kind of topic.

If they are really lunatics, they wouldn't know it.

How do you discuss the context within the bible without quoting it?

Perhaps if you want to discuss the bible with others, you should probably begin the conversation somewhere. It's a big book, and you've not touched on any of it, or even any position regarding it. But you certainly feel the need to portray your superior understanding/reasoning skills while also stating you're 'not an expert'.

What is the point of this topic? spit it out.

To discuss the Book of Revelation, I assume.

On topic, OP, the Book of Revelation is nonsense.
Written by God knows who claiming to be verbatim "what Jeebus told me"...

& its fiery, deathly imagery is so far from what Christ had shared with us prior to, it is an abomination itself to even label itself in with the Gospels.

That's what I think anyways.

I pretty much think I did already.

Now you're defending the bible, Ghost147? How comes? I'm really curious.

I'm interested in endings, regarding so called scriptures. Just because I'm a writer. I learn by engaging with experts in some field. Something wrong with that so far?

So where do you think your laws came from? Society? How do you think society evolved?? In nature we are nomads, all we do is f***, eat, # and sleep.. Where do you think Dantes Inferno is from? Do you know what the reformation is?
Study theology first, then we start discussing..

I seem to be some sort of a masochist. I tried to understand the ending first.

Ja, I can not agree more. A sh!tty ending is a sh!itty ending is a sh!tty ending.

In my book ....but that's another story all together.

I could be wrong, but this thread may be sophisticated theo-illogical trolling. Maybe the OP can prove otherwise, but I'm not too optimistic. Anyways, I choose my babblefields carefully...

That you gnosisfaith?

Honestly, no one for thousands of years, on both sides of the argument, has ever definitively answered these questions or convinced the other.

Why throw yourself against a brick wall?

I studied Sören Kierkegaard (ughh, Dutch comedy)...

Quite funny when you ask science... it started with a big bang? How can you exclude a god then ?

Damn i heard the most ridicules theories the last years. Maybe the universe is holographic and so on, but get down to the point, and no one can explain it!

What if the universe is not holographic! Its Pornographic! After all it started with a big bang right?

Clearly none of you have understood Kirkegaard !

I really hope so, that you choose your battle/bubble-fields carefully. But I'm not sure you realy do. But that's just me. And I'm not a theologian. But I'm on my way.

Why do you assume I'm not in touch with reality, Kantjil? And how do you define reality anyway? Just tell me.

I certainly do know what a some kant is all about, because I, personally, possess one.
