Oh nice! Just up the road pretty much lol.
Im a mine engineer for Lac Des Iles Mine.
Ive been all through the greenstone area. I used to fly in and out of Geraldton ever 2 weeks, up to James Bay for an exploration company i worked for. Then that same company -Zenyatta minerals, had me head up 2 of their exploration projects out side of longlac and jellico.
Then i contracted my self to another exploration company -Sabina Gold and Silver. They sent me to the arctic - Cambridge Bay Nunavut. I got sick of being away from the wife and kids for a month at a time so i came to work at LDI.

Nobody considers Alaska part of the US (FedEx and UPS says we are not part of the continental United States and charges us more money to have our stuff shipped here)! Does that count? We are sitting at 1 C with a fine afternoon shaping up.

Soon, will be sitting on a bar stool, sipping on a stout, talking about the weather with the "brave tourists" that are here during (typically) the coldest month of the year! We usually have a couple dog sled races held during this month but we do not have any snow so they were not started here in town.

Probably watching sports!

Greetings from Australia here

I'm good, a bit hot and headachey but that'll happen. Bright and sunny and 30 degrees Celsius at the moment, would love a good storm

I'm currently eating breakfast (wheet bix) for lunch
and just popped my son down for his afternoon nap, browsing ATS in my downtime. Watching ABC Kids shows on TV because that's the -only- channel I ever have on. Don't watch TV myself.

Do your Australian justices and judges still wear powdered wigs?

What is your neighborhood like? What fast food restaurants do you have?

They wear their wigs at home, mardi gras and the like.

I am sure they do in court, some old tradition, looks good with their gown, doesnt really, it looks a little silly. I think its a supreme court thing

Fast food
Hungry Jacks is Burger King, Mc Muccas as its known locally, Subways and KFC are the main USA imports. We have a few local chicken FF chains
Dome Coffee and San Churros are our main coffee shops, no starbucks...yet

As for shops, Target and KMart, no Walmart.

Major parties are Labor and Liberal, though there's the Greens, Palmer United, hundreds of tiny parties... The Australian Sex Party, who I love but unfortunately with the major players around they'll never get their chance.

Its a 57 channels and nothing on imo . Actually I don't know how many channels there are .I don't watch it much . Usually I am reading online ,watch and read news around the globe . We have Rogers and Bell Alliance as the two main cable services . I have bumped into most if not all the reality shows that people talk about .
