Kenneth Copeland Declares That Ted Cruz Has Been 'Called And Anointed' By God To Be The Next President

Whoa. Guys - this is from earlier today....
Rafael says Ted "spent six months in prayer"

it was his wife Heidi who interpreted the event...........that he was called by God to be the president........


Ted said, "Here I am, Lord".........
and that's when God annointed him......

Copeland, who believes that he can destroy the Ebola virus by speaking in tongues, introduced the elder Cruz by asserting that "I believe, with all my heart, that his son is called and anointed to be the next president of the United States."

After Cruz spoke for an hour, delivering his standard presentation urging Christians to vote in order to beat back secularism and take control of this nation, Copeland asked him to recount how the Holy Spirit had descended upon a Cruz family prayer session and convinced Ted to seek the presidency, which Rafael took as a sign that "God has raised him up for such a time as this."

Then, several church elders gathered around Cruz in order to lay hands upon him and pray while Eagle Mountain International Church senior pastor George Pearsons proclaimed that "we are in the midst right now of the new birth of this nation."

This really and truly makes me very, extremely uncomfortable.

In this video, Kenneth Copeland lays hands upon Rafael Cruz and declares that his son, Ted, has been anointed by God to be the next president of the United States.

this is the Cruz AND Christian Belief part. Thing.........

we received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over Washington DC, we see, we see Congress praying we see them seeking God we see prayer coming back into our schools.......

I'd say that because of our belief in separation of church and state this automatically disqualifies Cruz from the Presidency.

However since Satan called and anointed Hillary maybe it's a toss-up.

I wonder who's fault it will be when Cruz doesn't win and how they go about explaining how it is that their all powerful God can't even control the outcome of a political election?

Maybe it will be Obama's fault?

On a more serious note, it's nutty stuff like this that generates the negative view of organized religion that is then interpreted by religious folks as a "war on religion."

Much like Hillary Clinton, they are their own worst enemy.

But here is what the Bible says,

Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

When Rafael' loses I predict his wife would either say:

"God said it just wasn't his time"
or
"God has another special plan for him"

You can never lose with a double headed coin in your favor.

Thats ok not a Cruz fan. Actually not a fan of any of the Rs or Ds . Too much political pandering going on (at least the attempt at it). Bring in an Indie this time. If Sanders had continued to stand up to the D Party by continuing to profess he was not a Democrat and was a Socialist instead he might have won my vote.But then he realized where the butter for his bread would come from...

Obviously the GOP isn't serious about winning the POTUS if they think this will sway voters to vote for Cruz. It didn't work for Palin and It won't work for Cruz.

Cruz has a solid base of evangelicals but even a lot of right wingers won't accept that foolish BS.

Looks like Cruz just threw the ball back into Trumps court.

I doubt if he actually has any chance of winning, thank god!! can you imagine having to wait around 6 months for fema to show up after the big hurricane because it took him that long to get the word from his god to send them?

as far as obama being the messiah, ya know I never heard of any democrats saying this, just republicans accusing them of it.... which begs for an explaination...
