It looks like some serious damage from this quake: Recent so casualty figures will be coming in over the next week or two. The first link has several videos of the destruction. So far the quake is being listed as a 6.4 shallow quake.

At least 123 people have been rescued from a 17-story building in Tainan, the local fire brigade told Reuters.

The epicenter of the quake was located at a shallow depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), some 19 miles (31 km) east-southeast of Tainan, the USGS said.
