Uh...So that's what Israel's so terrified of.
They are not trying to intimidate Israel. I don't think they are that stupid to think someone in Israel will fall for this.
The purpose of this is to fool the Gazan citizens into thinking they are wining , and to distract them from the fact that their sons are dying underground for no reason.
One tank? Anyone near it is instantly threatened not by the "threat to Israel", but by the rain of bombs if its spotted. That ongoing threat comes from Israel at any moment, for any perceived threat.
The only possible threat to Israel would be loss of sleep worrying about one captured tank in the deep cover rumor mills and the lack of sleep of the drone pilots and air branch looking for it.
In that sense its brilliant. So the Gazans start a rumor and they 'display' a tank at night but the IDF got a revealing picture showing the ruse. Not unlike the west claiming the terrs have WMD now is it?
Be verrry afraid. Oh, Israel, the Palestinians are haunting them in their sleep.

Perhaps it is simply a float for a parade march.
Yep, they're just showing off how peaceful they are by creating props of machines of war.
This is the only way they ever got sympathy from the international community - by creating situations in which civilians die and then sending the mothers to cry in front of the cameras.
Gaza Tunnel Collapse
The Institute for Palestine Studies reported in 2012 that Hamas authorities had counted 160 deaths inside the tunnels since the Israeli blockade began in 2007, and in August 2014, al-Jazeera reported that figure to be as high as 400.
While the tunnels are used by Hamas as a source of tax revenue and inflow of weapons, they also supply highly-demanded necessities for Gaza's 1.8 million residents under the blockade, including food, medicine, as well as infrastructure materials like concrete and fuel.
On at least four occasions during the conflict, Palestinian militants crossing the border through the tunnels engaged in combat with Israeli soldiers. In practice, only Israeli military targets have successfully been attacked through them. The UNHRC Commission of Inquiry on the Gaza Conflict found "the tunnels were only used to conduct attacks directed at IDF positions in Israel in the vicinity of the Green Line, which are legitimate military targets." Israeli officials condemned the UNHRC report.
oddly all that tunnel building they are undertaking has pushed ground penetration radar and other tunnel detection technologys far ahead of were they would have been without this idiological conflict

Israel use and others bought it for them as part of the oslo.accords. and they spend half the ammo.shooting up in the air hollering allahuquackbar
'Quack' a link for that if you would, instead of just saying it.
It would be impossible to sneak a tank into Gaza without Israel knowing about it.

How did they get tires?
Meanwhile lets joke about poor people in Gaza being under siege for decades .
" how did they get tires " is actually a legit question . insensitive as hell ,but right on target .
Is hamas a stupid organization ? yes . but for me its like this :
Hamas or Israel ? these are the only choices available for now . in light of this ,my choice will always be Hamas cause they've killed less civilians in their whole existence than Israel did in one day during the 2009 war .
