With the locals etting pretty stabby lately this gentleman may be one of the luckiest men in the Middle East

But how the hell does a solid kitchen knife bend when you're trying to stab somebody?
when the cowardly stabber was confronted with his floppy weapon he ran off in fear and presumably shame.
I'm kind of interested to meet the stab proof Israeli

According to Walla, the assailant approached a civilian waiting at a bus stop in the Israeli capital’s Armon Hanatziv neighborhood, pulled out his knife and lunged. But instead of penetrating the victim, the knife bent out of shape.

The attacker fled the scene, but was apprehended shortly thereafter and taken in for questioning

Must've been one of those Ikea knives, you know, the ones you assemble yourself so it's supposed to be "cheaper"?

Glad the victim is okay - the assailant is an idiot regardless of what kind of knife it was

Perhaps it was the Zohan.

Or perhaps the man who was attacked had protection on like a stab proof vest or clothing.


It could have been a filet knife they have a lot of natural bend and can inflict serious damage if you stab some one. It's long flexible blade may have got caught on a zipper or button even heavy stitching and the blade would just bend.

Certainly wasn't a Puma or Gerber knife.

Maybe a new smart knife, it will work to cut food, but when used as a weapon to harm a person it just goes limp. .....lol

What's he doing with a kitchen knife when everyone knows since 2001 the most effective knife in the world is a $1 box cutter.

Finally, the Israeli sanctions are paying off, there's not enough steel left in Palestine to make a solid shank.

You can see the curve of the knife shows full bending. Therefore I'm guessing the force was from the tip of the knife. Maybe hit a buckle or against a thick bible/koran/playboy.
