You might be thinking of the word 'computer' differently. The ones that predated the 1960s were not much more than fancy calculators. They were bulky, expensive, time consuming, constantly needed parts replaced.

Malachi could be cancelled by electing a pope that surpass the centuries long list, and other things. After all, God has the power to cancel an old prophecy with a newer one. But we don't even know the real newer one - Fatima! Why should it be kept secret if it concerns our own future? What is it so dangerous for the Vatican to make 98 years games and intrigues for a sheet of paper after all?

The entire theater of a pope who must die, along with a number of his followers, is ill conceived and has completely other agenda. We don't know how Malachi prophecy became so important, we don't know whether Virgin or someone else talked to the saint. Or whether the script was added to the Vatican archive long after hos death. We just don't know. The best is the Vatican to come clean and tell us those and other secrets that concern the planet's common future.

Let me say again: I deeply respect pope Francis for all he wanted to do. Those were noble goals. Nevertheless he was apparently stopped by bureaucrats that we see over and over again on the TV screen next to him despite they already resigned from office. That is not the change the world expected in 2013 after his election. And we don't have the luxury of time to wait for another 8-year term to end because of old age.

I already answered the technical questions. What were marketed in 1986 were most likely developed 20 or more years before. You can't have the microchip out of the blue, with the level of WW2 tech! The only option for pope Francis different from a HONORABLE RESIGNATION, is a swift move and announcement no later than this New Year 2016. The world cannot afford to wait more years for few words said. He could do that in the UN, and he didn't. Apparently he is not in the move to do it anytime soon.
