What is your favorite ever ATS thread and why?

I have accidently finished work early this year and with a million and one things to do around the house and for work in preperation for next year I need some procrastination fodder.

I am sick of Donald Trump, ISIS and Socialism(a new dirty word apparently).

I could do with revisiting some of the all time greats weather it be chit chat, aliens, jokes and puns, silly threads that raised a laugh, anything really that I or others may have missed that would be a good read in this awful weather.

Be it your's or anothers please share your favorites and a brief explanation of why it's worth a read.

Mostly, because it was one of the FIRST threads I started when I became a member (171 posts on it)...AND because NOBODY was able to debunk it.

I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. There would be a mile long list of threads that I enjoyed just for superior content,or for the humor,or for the unbelievable support this site and it's members provide to each other. I have had eight years of memories,unforgettable posts and members alike. Not possible to condense all that to just one thread.

I loved the time traveler photo from the Charlie Chaplin film, too.

Almost any thread by Astrocyte. Astrocyte is always consistent in his up to date understanding of the bio psychological nature of consciousness. While reading his posts all the rest of the human squabble that goes on here just seems to melt away to meaninglessness.

I tend to gravitate to cooking. No matter what religion, sexuality, or political affiliation someone is, if a group of all differences sit down to eat good food? None of the issues we are bombarded with seem to matter at the that moment.

I too am a big fan of the furry ones cooking threads.

He is(and I hope he takes this with grace) only surpassed by Augustusmasonicus when it come to all things culinary.
