Nine hundred and ninety-nine (999) to be exact...so far.

The department on Monday released its largest batch of emails yet, posting 7,800 pages of the former secretary of state’s communications.

The latest batch contains 328 emails deemed to have classified information.

Clinton's Classified Emails

Okay, so maybe...being human and all...she might not be aware that a few emails contained sensitive information, that should not be passing through her private (and under-protected) server. Giving her an additional benefit of the doubt, as busy as a Secretary of State must be...maybe she might slip up on, say one or two such communications per week...so let's say 50 - 100 per year max.

But, come on folks, 1,000 emails (and counting)?

Just how massive does this dangerous legacy of unprofessionalism and carelessness have to become before her supporters finally begin to realize that this person was not cut out for the kind of responsibility incumbent on a Cabinet level post - and therefore in no way could she ever be trusted with the keys to the White House?

What is it going to take America...is 2,000 leaky emails the threshold...5,000?

Perhaps the better question is, who will the Democratic Party turn to when Hillary is finally charged with a string of felonies, associated with her blatant disregard for the legal handling of classified/secret materials, by the FBI? Bernie Sanders...the 74 year old Socialist who wants to see France-like tax rates of up to 95% to fund his radical vision of a blanket Grandpa State (Nannie State doesn't sound right when we are talking about Bernie)?

A Trump Presidency is looking more and more likely every day.

I'm not sure if it's even germane to any discussion regarding democracy. That's so 1800's.

Seeing how Hilary answers to her international bankers and corporate gods, if you are already a traitors scum what difference does it make who reads what emails?

I don't suppose those emails shed any light on the weapons moving from Libya to Syria?

We have U.S. Nuclear weapons in Turkey. Turkey is IS. Does anyone see any conflicts of interest?

I've seen a career ruined for less. One of my superiors wasn't properly monitoring our COMSEC program on the submarine I served on. This ultimately resulted in stopping any progression in his career, was kicked off the submarine and given one of those "desk jobs" until retirement.

Now, I won't go to bat for the guy. He did deserve what he got, because he knew his responsibilities. What I'm trying to get at though is his mistake was being lazy. He was required to be present each time we were handling COMSEC material, but wasn't fulfilling his duties. Hell, I even went to captain's mast for the same incident and I had zero control over the incident.

What I'm getting at is Hillary is very irresponsible and actually deserves some type of stiff punishment. If I was to have had an unauthorized personal server hosting classified information, I would most likely be considered a traitor or spy. So lets be real for a second, why is she still running for President?

COMSEC is used to protect both classified and unclassified traffic on military communications networks, including voice, video, and data. It is used for both analog and digital applications, and both wired and wireless links.

They won't. They will always come up with excuses, such as, it's just a ploy by the Republicans to sabotage her campaign. Especially the rabid Party followers. They would vote Democrat if a dead weasel were the candidate.

Wait and see. This thread will be flooded by Democrat/Hilary defenders, blaming it on Republicans.

I honestly haven't seen many Hillary supporters on ATS. Personally I support Bernie, but have zero respect for the Democratic Party.

Because "THEY" made the decision to have her as the next president and they didn't have a plan B.

Was this her only server in the entire time she was Secretary of State? The world may never know.

From the power-brokers' perspective, precisely. And a lot of these power-brokers have a lot of money invested in her...oops, I mean the "Clinton Foundation" (which, of course, has no political hinges).

I, wrongly it seems, was convinced that Biden was that Plan B...unless, he is just craftily waiting for the inevitable indictments to come down - and then he will humbly allow himself to be "drafted" as the new presumptive nominee.

And then you can expect him to whisper to Obama "this is a big #ing deal?" just loud enough for the microphones to pick up.

Nothing would surprise me at this point, but having Hilldog pulled would peak my curiosity. She is 99% bitch and 1% Teflon, and apparently the Teflon coats the outside.

Her corporate backers have invested a lot, so I don't doubt that one bit. Another thing is how Bernie has been winning the debates, has a ton of support pretty much everywhere, yet Hillary gets all the praise according to CNN.

But Hillary is a woman, so you can't attack her for anything she has ever done.... if you do, you are just some male chauvinist that wishes ill on her because she is a woman.

Any indictment of the good HC will end in a pardon by he who makes me vomit a little in my mouth at the sound or sight of his name.

We had a guy get busted in rate, 30 days restriction, half-pay for two months and loss of clearance just because he had a flight schedule in his jacket pocket and forgot it at the exchange cafeteria. A flight schedule was only classified " Confidential". We used to post them on the barracks bulletin board. Of course this was right after they caught John Walker.

Exactly, the double standards are astounding. The small guy with no voice/money gets the shaft, while Hillary who has a voice/money and a backing media can just brush this off. The sad part is what Hillary has done is blatantly against the rules, intentional and greatly exceeds the danger to national security compared to the guys you/I know. Not to mention that she was our foreign affairs advisor, which I'm sure requires a clearance equivalent/beyond what I had.

I had a Top Secret clearance. To obtain it my family/friends were interrogated, I was interrogated (numerous times), investigated, and dragged through mountains of paperwork. Then was read in on SCI, which came with its own set of requirements. Trust me, I was well aware of the rules and procedures regarding the handling/storage of classified information. So what is Hillary's excuse? If she gets away with this scott-free, then lots of people were paid off in some fashion.

Money talks...and thats the problem with the U.S. at the moment. The U.S. Government is for sale to the highest bidder.

Argument could also be for the people sending her the emails with classified info.

They should be charged as well. Sending classified info to an unsecure email.

I was non-ASW aircrew, on the special weapons load team and a few things that I still can't talk about. I know what you go through for a clearance.

Funny thing though. I had a habit of setting off firecrackers in high school. When I came home on leave I went to visit some of my teachers. I'm checking in at the office when the assistant principal asks to talk to me. He said that there were some FBI types asking questions about me and was everything ok? I said that it was for my clearance. He asked for what? I told him "Special Weapons load team." I didn't know that he was ex-Air Force. He replied "THEY LET YOU AROUND NUKES???"

Yea, that whole thing is questionable. It's not like everything after the @ was hidden.
But assuming you are above the rules and can make your own is kind of why this is even an issue.
Not that any Clinton in the past has acted that way.

What I think is going on is both Trump and Bernie threw the whole election out of whack for those that like to be in control. Now they're doing everything they can to prevent both from becoming the next president. I'm not a fan of Trump, but one positive thing I can say is he says what is on his mind. Which is music to my ears compared to hearing all the empty rhetoric coming from the other bought out politicians currently running.
