As a former smoker - I empathize with addiction to smoking.

My rant: IT IS YOU ARE or YOU"RE NOT YOUR.

That said smoking is an addiction that no amount of 'knowledge' will ease.

Google data on relationships between women who smoke and promiscuity. Plenty of data out there to support my contention. Guys intuitively know this as well. Facts sometimes aren't pleasant.

I quit 3 years ago. I promised myself and haven't become angry at smokers.

Smoke going into the atmosphere? NO. Like a drop in the ocean in comparison to car exhaust.

I still let guests smoke in my home, but it's not well insulated. If it was a more sealed up home, I might ask that they step onto the porch and go with them.

I hear you man, butthave you ever been downtown and seen a Mother puffing over the baby carriage? I saw one changing a diaper the other day with a cig in her face ash dropping on the kid, smoke in the little lungs gasping to cry.

Many are thinking of the people around them but the ones who do these things should be throttled imo.

I think they are trying to bring back the constant smoking on Tv and movies sad thing, in my case I was hooked probably before birth along with the rest of my Bros and sister, Dad chain smoked in our faces. I now consider this child abuse if he were feeding us whiskey it would be considered abuse so why not passive smoke all day and evening every day of our childhoods.

there are million other things that could kill me every day. I think I'll keep smoking. Although i am trying to quit, Moved onto those vapor cig's. really makes a difference.

I am a smoker... in the sixth decade of life, with children and grand children.
I have lived life in all quarters, including military.

If I want to have a smoke... a cee-gar or even a cigarette, I will.
Judge me as you please.

If people need to call out smokers to make themselves feel better, go for it, it Wont change my life, heres hoping it makes you guys feel special.

Many people pick up cigarettes in College and then
find it easy to quit. That is not the case with those
who started smoking at age 13 or 14.

When the substance is introduced into the body
during that critical age of puberty, the body
become more dependent on it.

Just because it was easy for you to quite, does
mean it SHOULD be just as easy for others.

Again, the age you started smoking is a critical
factor in how hard or easy it is to stop.
