There's no proof that Russian air strikes have been any more or less effective than coalition air strikes. Obviously the hyperbole is a result of ea still excellent Russian propaganda machine. That's what happens when a major power has one person in control, the message is delivered and believed.

The western powers have a monstrous bureaucracy that is telling us 100 different lies, old Vladimir can just say whatever he wants and there's no one to oppose him but the wests bureaucrats who are already established as not dependable sources of information. Believe whoever you want. Better yet, do the smart thing and don't believe any of them outright and glean some truth from the sum of all the parts.

Don't forget to add 298 to Putin's side. They'd say it wasn't on them, but that's just their way right? Stay Classy Russia.

What better way to galvanize regional support and empower the Russian-led campaign than to make it look like anti-Russian supporters have attacked the Russian embassy and killed innocents in the process.

Putin is a veteran when it comes to things like this.

Chechnya showed us this.

One has to wonder if those shells came from the 50 tons of supplies the US just dropped.

Not if one looks.

U.S. gets involved in a conflict abroad.

The People: "Why are getting involved in foreign affairs again? Another war? More troops in danger, more money spent, problems at home are being ignored!"

U.S. avoids getting even more involved in a conflict abroad.

The People: "Why aren't you doing anything? You obviously have an agenda! Russia has the onions to stand up and do something.. what a pansy government we have!"

They really can't win you know.

...the rockets might be supplied by and made in USA just like the missile that hit flight MH17 is supplied by and made in Russia.

Are you saying that the U.S.'s version of "Chehnya is an indipendant nation that jas been oppressed by Russia for 100+ years" is the correct way of thinking??

Because everything bad that happens is America's fault?

Just for the record, the "rebels" in Chechnya were the same radical Wahhabi groups we've seen terrorize other Muslim countries. One of their major backers was one of the Saudi princes, the notorious Prince Bandar. Chechnya's population is mostly Muslims & their current government are Muslims who fought against those Wahhabi groups.
