I'm not sure if it will link directly from my mobile but the URL is www.abovetopsecret.com...

It is literally the most bizarre story I have ever read, and I can't seem to tell really if the person in question in the story really is just nuts or the people who've conducted endless hours of research(while I briefly did while reading comments made). I'm not totally into the whole world of conspiracy theories or anything but this for whatever reason piqued my curiosity.

If you've heard/read about it before would you all mind sharing your thoughts?

I'm going tonight to see it! Thinking of waiting a week or two for less people in the theatre though.

You will like it.. Watch it in 3d if you can.

I get a headache for 3 days after watching a 3D movie

I would be interested in listening if you have a link to the broadcast?

And thank you for the warm welcome!

I live in a very small and rural town so it's hard to find people with substance that can hold a conversation that doesn't revolve around your run of the mill "Southern" activities ahahaha if you catch my drift.

Love David Attenborough!

My daughter grew up watching DVD's of his nature docs (we never let her watch 'commercial' TV), consequently I can credit him with two aspects of my daughter's upbringing:

1. She plans to get a degree in Zoo Keeping after High School.

2. The funny story I have of how she learned about 'the birds and the bees' from an Attenborough documentary that showed a very explicit scene of mating hedge-hogs...

...the 'beginning of the conversation went something like this:

A. (sweet little girl voice) "mommy, mommy, what's that thing?"
B. (Absent minded mom) "Hmmm, what thing?"

A. "on the boy hedge-hog, sticking out of him?"
B. "Oh.....Uh.....Uhhhmmmmmm.....well uhmm........"

A. "mommy - what is that thing on that hedge-hog!?"
B. "......uhmmm...okay, um...right...well we're gonna have to pause the DVD, because it's going to take a little while to explain..."

Sorry - It's probably not as amusing written out as it is in my memory...

....I should probably delete this post, but I guess I'll leave it, just in case it might generate a smile or two..

Oh, and as far as an ATS update: yes, there was an October doom date - the 7th...nothing happened - well, unless a bunch of people actually did get 'raptured', and we just can't tell because it wasn't anyone we knew...

Anyone else been insanely busy lately?

A lot of people (most) work harder and are more responsible than I have ever been. I'm 28 but I'm not much of an adult.

That said, yes I have been busy lately, trying to change that.

LOL, sorry Zazz.... As much as you would provide great commentary, it is by invitation only and the guest list is limited to a select group.

Maybe we should work on an ATS sponsored cruise? Lol.... I'd be down.

I've been busy prepping food and cooking up a storm for the past couple of days getting everything ready for our annual Canuckian Turkey Day.

Cabbage rolls, perogies, meatballs, mushroom wild rice casserole, all the veggies are peeled/diced/sliced and ready to go, and the pastry for my punkin' pie is wrapped and in the fridge waiting to be rolled out... turkey is thawed and also ready to rock and roll for tomorrow. I prefer to get everything ready ahead of time so that I can take it easy on the actual day of family/friends coming over for the "big feast".

Now all I have to do tomorrow is stuff my turkey and toss it in the oven in the morning.

We only have a small gathering of 7 people coming over tomorrow, but as usual I've made enough food to feed a friggin army !

Needless to say, hubby will be inhaling leftovers for the rest of the week...

I did exactly nothing yesterday.

Mentally my job is pretty much 24/7 which can be just as draining as a physical job so I needed a day where I didnt have to have my brain on so I sat on the couch, watched CSI: SVU and hockey games .

Of course Im back in professional mode today so hopefully that one day of doing nothing was enough!

My husband is in my homeland this week for work. He went to San Francisco, will be meeting up with my dad.
I'm here alone, no longer working, in gestation with myself, trying to throw stuff away, taking walks in nature, meditating, feeling guilty because I am not doing anything "important" for anyone and so thoroughly enjoying it.

Tomorrow I'll be getting up to greet the farrier and care for my horse, the a day trip to IKEA with my daughter, babysitting my 4 month old grandson in the evening. That should calm my guilt. So I can get back to peace again the day after.

I have Fall Break this week from work. I've been busy outside enjoying the last of the warm weather. I don't come here as much as I use to but decided to today.

Actually getting ready to start some Christmas shopping later this afternoon. Or not. Ha ha
