That wasn't what this was about though, this thread is clearly about this 86% revenue number which is what I was addressing.

Oh boy it's math time boys and girls.

Ok so value A (Planned Parenthood's Revenue) found here Planned parenthood Revenue $184.7 million

Value B (cost of abortion) found here cost of abortion in the US about $470.00

Now we just learned Value C the 86% revenue from the linked topics above.

Using what we have (A - 86%) /C = 55,017.02

I will be honest, I have not been following the testimony with any deep interest, how does this affect the perception?

I always thought that Planned Parenthood (from a viewpoint of someone who never went to one) was kind of a 'one stop shop' for women's health services. Is her admitting that they do not do mammograms an issue or not?

For me personally I don't think so.

I am sure we are going to see that talk track, but would not offering one service out weigh what they do offer?

She's dodging questions from Palmer about income, her compensation, PAC funding, donations, etc.

Every time her answer was, I don't know.

Go to the 50 min mark and watch it.

What was aid at the "50 min mark" ?

I'm not on a unit that can view videos or live streams at the moment.

What does that have to do with the topic at hand and the revenue from abortions?

I think the only way it would is if they specifically mentioned that in any context related to the videos that were released over the summer.

I had the hearings on the background and I could have sworn she said none of the locations had mammogram machines.

That's because none of their clinics are licensed to perform mammograms.

Of course you are not, so you found a source with people tweeting about it and made a thread.

That totally makes sense.

Something damning must have been said under oath I suspect from the reactions so far.

I have no idea, that is why I asked. I wanted to know if mammograms or the machines used for them was somehow germane to the hearings.

I already told you what was said, people are just going off your title and it is rather clear.

Just because other people are responding to the ignorance of posting without knowing doesn't make it true.

If 7/8 of their revenue is made from abortions they really need to change their name to unplanned parenthood.
Maybe they should have greater focus on prevention education. I would much rather pay for condoms.

So 3% of their business covers 86% of their funds? So that $500,000,000 that they get from the feds is only 14% of what they take in? That means they make around 3 billion in abortions..

Ok then we are on the same page lol.

Kinda wondering where the focus on the mammograms is coming from as well.

From the question I overheard. I was wondering what the relevance was to the hearings.

Sounds like it was a red herring.
