Volkswagen could face $18bn fine over secret device that 'intentionally cut emissions'

The fine, and the atrocious PR may be a glitch...but, VW's biggest headache might be the class action for false advertising.

It is strange how the VW controversy suddenly started out of the blue just after the whole refugee crisis problem..it had me thinking for awhile that VW was perhaps being set up somehow..I don't know but I still have questions on the timing..

Or the much more likely scenario that neither,event has anything to do with each other...

Like for example if VW was warned years ago that trying to cheat the system is wrong
