Can I get an applause please?

Just another device of confirmation bias.

So far I have noticed that the majority of stars and flags do not go to the posts that were well thought-out or provide great content. They go to the people that the forum gangs agree with.

This would just be another way to continue the confirmation bias trend.

Hey... Believe it or not that can make a huge difference in someone's day so I'd say keep on keeping on. You can't use the points for anything anyway so the fact that someone just appreciates you and your POV can be an awesome thing.

I've PMed a mod, when I've seen an outstanding post. But, if I really want my friends to feel appreciated, I post to their WALL!

What's wrong with a U2U saying "I applaud thee for thine efforts on the field of ignorance!" Or somethin' like that.
