Most definitely! Sometimes you just have to load the ipod up with a heap of iconic music, then jump in your car and drive across the desert in a haze of glory... fear & loathing style.

We all have our doubts,at the end of it all both the positive and the negative create the whole, you cannot have one without the other...i guess that is why they describe life as a roller coaster ride.....

Anyhow..nice to hear your perspective

If you are fighting, maybe that's an indication that you are
doing something wrong?

All other animals besides humans either survive or do not
survive and do not invent all this unwarranted melodrama.

Humans have an infinite capacity for self-deception, and
due to being an animal out of balance with it's ecosystem
are constantly trying to 'make the world right'; when sadly,
the main thing making the world 'wrong' is us.

If humans would stop being so ego-centric (as you note),
greedy, grasping and destructive, and just ran around in
little circles of glee yipping in the warm sun (yes, I
obviously have a dog), then all the melodrama
and stuff to 'fight over' would just fade away.

This topic is not nearly as melodramatic as you imagine it to be.

We are intelligent, thinking beings that have questioned the nature of reality, our existence, and our potential purpose for existing since we became self-aware.

Maybe "fight" is not the right word, maybe "struggle" would have been better. I am yet to meet one person who has not faced any challenges in their life. Even those who are happy and content with everything were once in a bad place at least once.

One of the themes you will find in several of my threads is that of survival as a collective goal: what compels most humans to want to live and survive?

Those early humans who didn't care about surviving
didn't have offspring.

Those people who are alive today, are the offspring
of those people who cared to survive and happened
to survive.

The survival instinct is baked into us from way back.
